Penpen, just give me the word, and I'll upload the huffy to Yousendit and we can call that a wrap.

The WORD. ()

Congrats on finishing your segment. I've said it before but It's style is entirely uniqe among AMVs as far as I'm concerned. I love to pull this video out at odd moments and watch it just to revel in it's easy flow.

Frankly, I'm not even sure what's going on with anything besides the 3 complete tracks (I'll count mine as complete, since as I said it can be done on 24 hours notice), and 3 in-progress (Bum, Pen-Pen, Song). I know BMA was going to do one, but it's been a while since we've heard anything from him.

I would do it, but I'd need an idea...

I'm around. But I'll be away from the Internets for the month of August, more or less, thanks to a trip to Ft. Polk, LA. :(

Still got a solid concept but dang, actually editing is a pain. I have a VG3 video to do as well, and I was planning on making SOMETHING for AWA Expo...le sigh. Still, the anime is ripped and ready to go.

Nice. First half was esspecialy cool. Second half was a bit plain in comparison. Considering how well you synced the effects, it would work well if you made the majority of the vid effect filled. Also, the scenes moved too fast into action. Try starting out the scene selection with things a bit slower and more "in preperation: than going uickly to full blown fighting, unless you've got osmething els planned that is. Anyway, good luck.

I'll have to agree with bum on all points there. Those first few seconds are excellent.

As someone who said he'll watch this track developing carefully (it's my favorite part of the song), I approve :D

Ooo, nice. The way you opened it was very cool indeed.

Actually, I think that it's a good idea to open with a burst of action, then slow down slightly for story development before picking up the pace again.

Good job!

Well, PenPen said to keep the FX to a minimum. Also, I don't generally add FX just for the heck of it; only to help the footage along if it can't keep up with the beat. I'll see if there's any places I can add something though. :)

The thing is that if I did use slower stuff once the music picked up it would drag horribly. I try to never loose pace with the music.

Thanks very much Oto. :)

Thanks Jasper. I'm glad no one thinks the piano roll footage dragged. It was the only thing I could think of. Lol.

Hopefully I'll have more for you guys to see by tonight. ^_^\/

My internet is sporatic so I have to make this quick. Regular conectivity will be back monday or wensday at the latest, untill then I may be incommunicado.

Bum, looking good, I'll have a few final notes later.

Songbird: looking good, the theme is pretty straightforward and understandable already so you are on the right track. Timing is (as always) excelent. As far as FX goes this is a segment that will really benifit from it. Regular anime footage is generally very clean and often bright, but the music here is darker and more chaotic. So I would actually encourage you to play around with effects, not the beat kind, you already know where and where not to put thoose, but the filter kind that changes the look of the footage. Just look at the shot immediatly after the piano roll, fits perfectly. The rapid motion effects right after that were also very nice. Those shots make the last two (sauske saving naruto and naruto saving sdauske from garaa) look kind of bland even though the scene selection is good, especiallyt the first one as it is not overused.

I'm going to be wraped up in the Animasia release preperations for a while now that that is back on track so don't expect much progress on my end for a bit, but one Animasia is out things will pick up fast. Progress on the various sections still in progress or on the drawing table is still greatly apriciated and I'll be providing feedback as soon as my internet connection is fixed.

I'd better post this while I still can.

If everyone hates my segment that could just say so instead of leaving me in an awkward silence
