NEW AMV Hell 3/AMV Hell 0 post

This forum is for the announcement, organisation and discussion of Multi-Editor AMV Projects.

I still don't have everything sorted out completely, but I'm almost done, and here are some rough figures:

Approximately 65 people submitted videos.
AMV Hell 3 hit its target of 1 hour in length.
AMV Hell 0 hit its target of 30 minutes in length.
Approximately 350 videos have been sent in.

To whoever sent me the Cowboy Bebop clip set to Intermission by Offspring: I need to know who you are, the video got seperated from your info during one of my cleaning sessions.

Just a heads-up: I sent you an e-mail, Zarxrax, regarding my status and the status of my projects.

Dunno if this was covered, if at all, but a more specific question:

Which AMV Hell gets released at Otakon and how long will it be (assuming this even takes place)?

The trailer :p

There just wasn't time to get it all put together for Otakon, so the projects will both be premiering at Anime Weekend Atlanta. SSGWNBTD made an excellant trailer for amv hell 3 (which is quite honestly one of the funniest things I have ever seen) and he sent it in to Otakon. It WON'T be in the Otakon AMV contest, but rather some other part of the con. I'm not really sure where, so maybe he could clear that bit up.

Just a heads up on how things are going:

Compiling the 2 projects has been WAY more work than I had even anticipated, but both projects are finally nearing completion.
In the end, we ended up cutting a LOT of videos out of hell 3. About 15 minutes worth of videos. Based on focus group data, we felt that the removal of a number of videos was in the best interest of the project as a whole. I appologize to those of you who had to have some videos cut, and especially to those who don't even have a single vid in the project anymore.
The videos that were removed will still be included on the dvd as a special feature, and yes you can still get a copy of the dvd even if all of your videos were cut.

Regarding the DVD, I will be posting my mailing address or other needed info in a week or two for those who want me to mail it to them.

I'm probably part of the latter there. Oh well, at least I still get a DVD. :)

Most of your vids are still in, I think, but a couple were removed.

Sweet. I can understand why you'd remove some of them, though. I drug that Bleach vid out a bit too long. :)
