I'm defintely joining this project. Since I'll never get my 'visual effect masterpiece' fininshed in time for next years VCA, I'll just shorten it down to 30 seconds and cram every last fuckin overlay I can into it

If you guys want some weird ideas, there is nothing better then South Park and Weird Al albums.

Another question..

Would short dialogue from a movie be ok? I know a few segments of amv hell have some dialogue. And the movie I would be using isn't anime.

Any sort of audio source that you want can be used (except audio from anime dubs, though I have no idea why some cons don't allow this?)

Probably because the anime companies who license the dubs of a certain anime usually visit a con, so do the voice actors.

I'll probably send an idea in later this week after I think about it more thoroughly.
