Re: A Very Cascada Christmas : [Final Deadline 12/21]

Love it aimo!

The only thing that I really didn't like was when he did the little "You're short" thing with his hand and when the chicken thing pops on her head. Those were just kind of off for me in terms of scene appropriateness. There was lip flap, but it really didn't bother me, because those scenes would be boring without them. I'm also on the fence with the bars thing at the very beginning, but I think that parts needs it, considering it doesn't have lyrics to support it.

Really freaking adorable.

ALSO. Why have I never watched this anime before? I need to remedy this quickly.

I'm going to try and work on my beta tonight and hopfully get a final version up shortly. But it depends on

Updated spreadsheet with possible final. Again, let me know what needs to be changed, removed, or edited.

Get ready. I'll take a look to all these betas+

Code, I'm currently rendering a new version with Aimo's suggestions. After watching my own beta, I start to think that the slide is not really necessary

Updated the spreadsheet with a new beta on my end. Cut on some of the crossfades this time.

I'll review your stuff soon Hitori and Tritio. :3

EDIT: I noticed the little white line around the mouth during the mask, so I'll maeks ure and fix that for the final version. xD

Aimo: Interesting track here. Thanks that your part includes lyrics you couldn't just go and start synching with whatever beat that pop up. Hmm that little chicken that appeared there, I don't really think it's necessary, the previous scene selection you had was very good and that moments looks kinda out of place.

Hitori: Sir, now this looks really fitting for the final track of the MEP, it has the feeling of ending. But, while I was playing this file, the sound started after second 3 how come? is anyone else having this?
Also, in 0:23 you got 2 scenes for the same segment. Not really something disturbing though

Code: Excellent. Now transition looks predictable. I had my doubts at the beginning, but I could understand the way of synch, from slow to fast and then again. Btw, I read the message, I'm still expecting the rest of testers

Ok my people, I'll render again my part so the new beta will be up in 2 hours

Actually what I wanted to show was how mean and annoying the boy was at the start with the height and chick thing before he starts being nice to her. :P But I do get what you mean so I've replaced those 2 scenes with something else that might fit better. ^^

x2. I think at 0:23 you just need one of the scenes.(I prefer the 2nd one) And also lipflap for Taiga at 0:21. Otherwise it's perfect and ready to go. I love the change to the end.

Code: I like this now. :3 I would just recommend one more thing though, at 0:39 you should add a black fade out and then black fade in the next scene. Otherwise the scene drags on for just a little too long.

Tritio: Looks good to me. I still think you should double check that mask because I'm still seeing this on my player:

It's like half frame blend, half mask slip. :uhoh:

I've also updated the spreadsheet with a newer beta, nothing much has changed but I've replaced those 2 scenes mentioned and also removed some lipflap which I felt wasn't necessary.

I freeze the frames D:

I have 16 hours to edit so I can do the change right now

EDIT: hahahahahahah xD

Aimo i found the reason why the frame blending was there: I forgot to erase an upper clip that covers the frozen frames

Hitori, your track is looking good! I agree with Aimo on her one point about the two scenes. Fix that and upload me a final! :)

Aimo, yours is ready for a final too. You did a really cute job on this. I'm gonna snag this OVA and try and do a quick AMV with it, because it about made me go nuts with my cute senses.

Except for the blending Aimo pointed out tritio, I think this is ready for a final.
