Re: An AnimeMusicVideos . Org Christmas [II]

I haven't really started on mine, things got too busy shortly after I said I'd join, but now Finals are finally over, so I can start my segment, and hopefully have it in by Tuesday at the latest.

Done! Unless there are issues, I will be uploading my final tonight. Let me know if there are any tweaks you think need to be made.

Re: Christmas MEP [II] [Final Deadline: December 23]

Ok, I'll wait until the 23rd for the finals to be turned in. As of RIGHT NOW, I have only 2 finals, and 3 people that have betas and/or promises of betas. I'll go with last year's requirement and make it so that I need at least 5 finals/tracks in order to justify putting everything together. I hope I get that, because I frankly love what I've seen thus far. <3

I'll also have my own track, so we might even be closer than we think.

There is nothing I personally feel the need to change in my beta, so unless you have something you want me to fix, you can use that as my final, since it's already HQ MP4.

Siny/Angelyco's tracks are approved.

Total number of tracks completed: 4 [Cannonaire/Jubjub/Angelyco/Siny]

Considering that I'll have a track or two finished by teh deadline, it looks like we'll make the minimum. :D

Heya, I may have ran into a snag on my project. I've been spending all day trying to find the root of the problem, but I can't seem to find it. What I'm saying is, I can't make an AMV if I can't even rip the footage. For a long time I used DVD Decrypter to Decode the VOBs to my Hard Drive and then use FlaskMPEG, but as of late, not just with Kanon(one of the series im using for my segment), but other series just wouldn't read for decryption. I'll have to go overtime on this, but first I need to find a program thats more reliable than DVD Decrypter.

I wish I caught this before, but I had my last few weeks of college finals to deal with. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on a program?

download the AMV app, and use DVD Fab. If you worked with DVD footage before, you should already have AvsP, Avisynth and DGIndex, but if you don't, they're in the app as well.

Tried it, however I seem to have run into a "Structure Protection" issue. And I have same problems as before, which is absolutely annoying. I'm trying to get my VOBs off of the Kanon Complete collection DVDs, so maybe protection is a bit more complicated on those.

It has to be, because prior to trying to rip the footage from the Kanon DVDs, I ripped the VOBs of White Christmas just fine, and even FlaskMPEGed the section which had the "Snow" song, and it went through just fine. So what gives?
