Well, like i said, lets wait till we finish this up this month and then I'll wait 2 or so weeks before putting up an interest gauge for C3 so as to give everyone a break then I'll put up the interest gauge for C3.

Pan track:
Spoiler :
Im having a hard time watching because my VCL player is a little brat, but it seems pretty good from what I can tell. Some of your footage seems REALLY saturated, maybe you can tone it down a tad?

And I have to say I agree about the black fades, but I think the problem might be that your track is so bright that the black just seems out of place. Maybe you could get away with a white flash instead?

TC Track:
Spoiler :
Kinda needs a bit more direction, the anime you used are more used in chunks rather than mixed together. Elemental only appears during the first half, the anime with the red hair chick is pretty much only in the middle, and there's another anime exclusively in the end. It's almost like 3 different tracks. Try mixing your sources together a bit more. Also, the zooms at 0:09-0:14 distract hardcore, Id suggest just going for straight cuts. I do agree that 0:22 works pretty darned well though.

Cascadathon 3 mix:
Spoiler :
I honestly thought it was pretty boring >>;

The first two Cascadathons have such energy to them that this seems way to mellow in comparison. While having slower tempo songs isnt bad, it keeps that tempo for over half the mep. There should be a build up, every song/couple of songs gets more energy. If Cascadathon 3 is to be the last in the series, then we should finish it with a bang!

The last couple of songs we have already used in Cascadathon...and one we've done *twice* already if I remember correctly. That was like, the biggest complaint we seemed to have out od the C2 mix, so why do it again?

Also the quality...doesnt seem to be that good >>

You guys might want to get MPC: http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/

So far I've managed to play all the betas fine with it.

Ya....the SMC files are really colourful. The R Movie is from my DVDs and I didn't change the colours at all so maybe I should include more scenes from that instead.

TwilightChrono wrote:I can tell you now Mystik. Mt track was not off-beat, lol. Code and Hagaren can tell you I'm a stickler for timing so there is no way my track is off beat. I did a mixture of both Lyric Sync and Beat Sync, so that might seem why but I do it in just about all my videos and have yet to hear a single complaint about it. You're the first :)

I'd like it if you'd pick one or the other to sync to because I get where Mystik's coming from. The editing makes it seem like its off beat mainly because it keeps going back and forth between what you're syncing to and its really hard to follow at times.

Pan:
comparing the two betas, you're second looks a lot better! Has my approval

I never got Code's beta :( lol though I'm late to the game to talk about it now.

Regarding Cascadathon Mix 3, could there not be songs that were already used? Aside from the fact that it just comes off as a slap in the face for the editors that edited them the first time around, it'd be nice to make the mix completely fresh. The Cascadathon 2 mix already seems more like a Version 2 rather than a Part 2 :?

I"ll talk to craig about the mix. Maybe just shortening it to all the new stuff that's in there and cut out the old. I think that's doable and would make for a much shorter and funner MEP.

Pan Beta:

Much better. The fade worked out so much better than the zoom. Good job. No other complaints from me :)

I agree with that! 8D

Pan & TC: I really liked both betas and don't really have any complaints.

And I'm working on mine, don't worry ;A; I switched sources though, that's why its taking so long. Also, I'm really busy with school. Sorry ;A; But I'll have a beta by tomorrow or the day after D8

Pan: I love it. Just a small thing but at 0:12/0:13ish there seems to be a glitched scene with part of a wing or something, like it's not supposed to be there so I would double check that. I also think at 0:09 a hardcut synced to the beat rather than a crossfade might fit better.

I will look at the issues when I get a chance. I'm not really able to edit right now because my house needs an overhaul! lol

The part at 0:12 is when she's transforming from Sailor Moon to the Princess. It's just the way it looks.

The deadline for the Bridging The Gap MEP is this week, so weather I make changes to my track or not I plan to have you a final by next week.

ICardioid:

Spoiler :
Qualityyy :uhoh:

There's blended frames everywhere, which is really distracting. I dont know what program you are using, but if you are using Vegas I might be able to help you fix that. A little cleaning could do you some good too.

As for the track itself, I like it a lot better than the first one you made. I think the pacing works a lot better than it did before. There's a lot of 'Chii waving her head and looking pretty' though which is a little repetitive, maybe you can change them out with different shots? Some scenes with the guy, or the two together. Also, I found the scene at 0:18 out of place.

Despite all that, I think you have something thats working a lot better~

Pan:
Spoiler :
Looks awesome, I think you're good to go
