lol I was about to say the same thing but you aren't going. ^_^ Now I has to go pack up what's left by the door and finish laundry. Oh the pre con prep...why did I let it get so late lol

I did vote for you at Katsucon though, that counts right? lol.

How did you end up doing the credits Deuce? I know you said you'd been thinking of just listing the editors and then the clips but not the editor with the clip. It's pure ego, I know, but I'd really prefer being connected to what clips I made since I'm fairly certain I could have had a part time job or something instead with the hours upon hours I spent working on this. :asd:

I'm curious too as to who made what.

Yeah, while it may save us some seconds at most by putting us all first, I agree that we should be identified by clip. It's not egotistical to know you deserve credit for your clips, moonbunnychan. Don't ever apologize for that ^^ For some reason people seem really against anyone being confident in their abilities I'm finding... no idea why. People can say they're good at something and others will call it arrogance even if it's really not. Maybe because most otaku are outcasts or something. Somewhere along the line it became perceived as 'arrogant' to be able to speak with confidence about something you do. Oh well. You rock, you deserve recognition of it. No question. We all do.

Due to technical issues we started late and they wouldn't let us finish showing the beta :( but I will post the response to the first half in a bit. So far everyone seemed to like it. :)

EDIT: Okay so i moved the video off of my camera and onto my desktop and you won't believe the size of this file!!!!!! it's just over a gig...*cries* I'm still uploading it but the connection here at the hotel sucks..I'm going to have it run while i'm at the Dance tonight too, if it's not done by then so hopefully I can post it when I get back to the room. I hope this help ^_^

Yeah, my original for AMVS4 at Otakon is over 2 gigs.

Look for a program called "AutoGK" (Auto Gordion Knot) which can take any video file and convert it to Xvid and allows you to set its size to a set amount. If the upload fails for whatever reason, go ahead and try that program and bring it down to a couple hundred megs or something. That'll make things easier on everyone probably. I think it's still free, but if not, I can post a free version for you.

That sucks though that they only got to the first half... actually I guess that means I won't get to see how most of my clips' reactions went. Darnit... All right, hopefully we can extrapolate a bit from it at least.

about a half hour left, and I will download the program when I get home if it fails, the connection here sucks. I was able to show my friends the end half of the final beta and they loved it ^_^ I'll try and get commentary from them when they get back. All in all, even though it was a small room I think we can get a good gauge of the reaction for some clips based on this half.

Okay guys lemme know if this doesn't work. It has some spots of sort of static audio noise but that's because of the speakers being the volume they were I think.

Oh! Beautiful! That'll pad things well. And at the very least you can tell us how the credits and ending played out for the audience and how quickly some of them got up to leave and such. That will be much better than not even seeing how they reacted.

Excellent. Look forward to it. The Stein clip may have hit a snag. I just got offered quite a chunk of money to rush some animations again for Tuesday night. If I don't get the files tomorrow, I'll spend ALL day on it and make a desperate attempt to get it to a workable state so that once I'm finished with the animations on Tuesday, I can finish Wednesday.

Right now I'm finishing up some clips for the fanparody intro.

I would have had it uploaded by now if not for the horrible traffic. Btwn stand stills, dropping everyone off and. The other erands I hadto run upon getting home I'm just too beat to even fiddle with it tonight (just got home).

it went very well! The only clips that I can remember getting a reaction to other than just laughter were it's a small world (with comments of oh that makes sense) and toys r us which the group
Next to me sang... The first thing on my list tomorrow is to download that program an shrink the files for upload then post them again. I know you guys are egar for the results but I'm sure u can understand my post con crash situation :). One way or another they should be up tomorrow but keep in mind it's only about 23 minutes or so. Sadly I didn't know we'd have time to
See it later so I didn't charge my camera
But I'm sure deuce can help me fill any blanks.
