Umm, Deuce? Have you worked on the credits or organization at all? We have a week left.

I still need a confirmation on whatever song we were gonna use for the closing.
I'm also running the Anime Mid Atlantic AMV department in absence of our titled DH. *ugh*
But I'm gonna have something before the deadline.
I'm not dropping this project, nosiree...

I'll try to get my little clip done this weekend :( Had a super bad schedule the last few weeks because of my husband's job, which is finally going back to normal now.

Cool guys don't look at explosions seems to make the most sense. Even if the explosion thing doesn't come together before June 24th, which I think it will (once I finally get these final characters into the intro, I'll be able to move on to other clips) it's still a song a lot like TV Dinner in the sense that there are plenty places to cut into it without annoying people. Plus I think it'll be fun to have Krvabo's tag end in an explosion ^^ I know I said it usually doesn't work to have people explode, but since they're snapping, I think we can get away with it since the audience knows it as an established tag.

I got Gokou into the intro now, after one or two more that will take a night to cut out, I'm going to start adding in our various running gags and other characters from our previous AMVSalads.

I'm fine with having it explode, but I'm not that good of an editor to pull that off. If anyone wants to do that, be my guest :)

Haha, if you've made anything before you're a good enough editor to pull it off ^^ All it is is using the sound of the explosion and cutting to an explosion. But if you don't want to, I may be able to, but I have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it. Actually it may work best if the explosion happens on the last snap instead of after it so it follows the similar 'click + boom' timing.

Oh well, it's easy enough to do as long as we have the footage of an explosion. If anyone can think of an explosion that works wish that footage, please let me know and I'll grab it, or even better, if you can send it to me or krvabo if you're willing to do it.

Are we going to need more explosion clips? I could try and put a few more together if we need them ^_^

Since you've all seen the clips we have, give me a post-opener and an anchor to start the end credits...GO!

Yes, we definitely need more explosion clips. Yours are the obvious ones, they work well, but now comes the hard part, we need the subtle ones, the ones nobody sees coming. For example, if your clips were to be synonymous with the geico money clips, yours would be like the Kyon clip where he walks in and the geico song starts playing. What we need now are clips like the Tenchi one, where the build up took some time and was completely unexpected. We also need a sort of story starter like the Princess Tutu one where it gets its introduction. Quite honestly, whoever made the Death Note one with Mello, if we could adjust it so that the explosion in the house happened all at once and we replaced the explosion sound, that would be a great starter. We could even keep the laughing over it. But of course the clip obviously is for its audio, and works wonderfully already, so I can understand it not wanting to be changed. The issue of course is that it's already so close to the running gag, so it should definitely go before any of the other explosion clips if it remains as is.

We can also use changed dialogue for scenes, not just the anime audio in and of itself. It'll become expected if we keep using unchanged anime clips. People will subconsciously know an explosion is coming whenever they hear a clip that has the original anime audio after two or three times. Like when I did the Gundam one in AMVS3, I had Daffy going "Yoiks and away!" and then changed the entire scene where he blows up Wing Zero. We have to do stuff like that. Once I get this intro done this week, I can focus on doing one, but I have several ideas I need to do before the true deadline to unify things.

I have several quick clips I can make that will fit the credits and such. One will be Captpan6's clip once I get around to up-ressing the footage (I honestly have NO idea how people will react to it, but I can't wait to see it ^^). We lack a scenario right now that would make having a credit anchor make any sense. The only one we have is "It's so fluffy!!!" as a continuation, but the only continuation is of course that punchline. We could do another explosion one, but people will be expecting that. But we may not have any choice.

What I think would be best for the end of the credits would be if someone could make a clip of someone doing the button click and the explosion doesn't happen or something. Like set it up so that we take an anime scene where everyone knows they'll blow something up. And instead we make it so the explosion DOESN'T happen, and then have them curse ^^ May or may not work. I'm doing my best to think of some good explosion ones as I get this intro done as well.

Sorry Deuce, we're going to need the extra time -_- But I guess that's why it's no coincidence that we got the extra time this year.

Thanks, moonbunnychan!

Also, for everyone, I took a quick break from the intro and threw this together in a few minutes.

It's pretty basic right now since I wanted to check and see if any of you thought it was worth refining. It's an idea I've had since before AMVS4 and still makes me laugh ^^

What's happening, Deuce? Do you need credits from us and such as usual? We have until Friday, right?
