i'd love to hear it, but i also need to talk to you about my song this weekend. i think i found one, but i need your approval, plus if you let me hear what you got so far, it'll give me a good idea on exactly what to shoot for...

Well, we'll just start by you sending me the song first. I can't tell if it'd be appropriate or not if I don't hear it first =P Plus, this way if it does work out, I can get started on the final mix faster. Contact info in first post.

Who else is interested in listening to the WIP track mix? If it's only two, I'm not going to waste time uploading o.o SendSpace is being a mite bit finicky.

are you going to be on for about.. i dunno... 6 more hours? cause thats about the time i get home from work... if so i could aim it to you and you could then send me the mix... if not, i suppose i could upload it...

I doubt it o.o 6 hours from now it'll be 7:30AM. I plan on sleeping in until noon. Long day. You could always upload a link with YouSendIt, MegaUpload, SendSpace etc to my email. Or PM the link to me.

Also about the mix, I'll be uploading a link for the track WIP tomorrow. Sending it through AIM would take WAY too long.

masterGT: The song you chose is awfully repetitive and slow =\ It'd be difficult to fit into the mix, as the majority of the other tracks are more upbeat and such, but I'm trying as best I can if that's really what you want to edit with.

@ Y'all: I've got about 9 1/2 minutes of the track mix completed. Who's interested in hearing the beta?

That's good, I want to listen to the mix too.

And for my song: I see you have problems with fitting it to the other songs but It'll take time for me to search and find a new song, because currently I'm working on my part for the ToolX2 project and I want to finish it the next days.
But if you have suggestions, feel free to send me songs via AIM.

You never know. When I get the rest of the tracks, yours might blend nicely into them. We'll wait until I have all the songs from all members before deciding whose tracks don't fit.

I do have a TON of music suggestions if need be =3

Alrighty. Doing some confirming with some members about song choice, still awaiting one or two songs, but otherwise, got the mix going.

09:42 so far, and it's a compressed .WAV so the quality isn't top notch, and I still have to do a bit of tinkering with the mix in some parts, but hey, it's a beta.

Songs included in the beta are from DJ-san, Aerialesque, Scott Green, Arkada, Sayde, Inthesto, myself, and angel234.

Project FMV Track Mix: Beta

If anyone has a problem with the part of the song I chose, let me know. I ask that everyone in this project downloads and listens to the beta, so you can get an idea of A) where your track is going to start/end, and B) the type of song choice we're looking for, for those of you who still need a track.

I ask that no one complains of their position in the project (i.e you want to be near the beginning of the project and not the end), because this is really the only way I can combine the songs and make them flow nicely. And with all the trouble it's causing just getting it this way, asking to change your position in the project will cause a bigger Take-headache. Your position in the project does not mean I like you more or less than others, of course. I'm not that mean =P

imo, the crossover at 5:00 was a litte strange sounding. 7:33 stopped abruptly, but it didnt sound bad. other then that, i think i need to play some more guitar hero and see which songs fit this a little better.

I rather like the mix. I'm gonna need to change what I had in mind for my segment because of the cut in the middle but it shouldn't be a problem at all.
