Wow...I get questions!

Just make a clip no longer than ten seconds with your name or that of your "studio." Make it look good but have fun with it. Make it represent you.

Are you taking tags for this one too?
Yuppers. If you wanna submit a new one, please do so. Of course, we can use your previous one if you want.
Matt_Colly wrote: ...what are you looking for? More spoken audio, rock, metal, comedy audio, commercials, gangster rap, etc clips?
It has to be funny, for sure. Unlike AMV Hell, I encourage the use of any kind of sound clip you have whether it be spoken, commercials,...whatever. Just make us laugh. ;)

Well, NekoCon is this weekend and AMV Salad has a panel Friday night at 11:pm. I know it shall be glorious...

Just to let you all know, the Salad was shown at NekoCon Friday night. Much enjoyment was had. I'm awaiting word on whether or not Katsucon will be able to squeeze this into their already cramped schedule.

Maru-sha: I'll be contacting the people from Anime Expo within the next week about you running a Salad panel there.

So how are the beginnings of the Second Serving coming? ;)

I use Sony Vegas 7 to edit and VDubMod to compress audio.

If you need a less expensive alternate to Premiere, there should be a link on the first page to a forum thread with a list of available editing programs.

Can't wait for you start accepting clips, I got a new tag and a clip waiting and ready to go.

Hey! Let me know if they do anything with it, I'll be going this year since I moved quite close to it. I always enjoy hearing people's reactions at the showings.

As far as technical stuff,...I think I covered everything. I'll look again tonight and see if there's anything amiss. The main thing is to just make the clips funny. ;)

I can't wait to see them. Hell, I'm seriously considering opening the flood gates a week early. I'm still trying to come up with an opening song. And YAY for probably running into you at Katsucon! I think they forwarded my request to the AMV and Panel people. There are still three months between now and then. I am also working on sending in a contest video. We shall see how things work out...
