I am going to strongly recommend using raw footage. For a number of reasons!
If I were coordination this project (as well as instances in the past) I would (/have) not allow subbed footage. It's distracting to the viewer and breaks the rules of this site.
Foremost if you wish to be taken seriously as an editor at the very least attempt seamless editing with as little interference as possible. I cannot stress this enough: BACK UP THOSE FILES AND GET AHOLD OF YOUR FOOTAGE THROUGH OTHER MEANS.
RAWS break the rules of the site aswell, and no one will see the subs, i can edit them out, that waht i used for Naruto of A King video i made, the lip synching all had subs, and i took em out :)

I think even so the subs r croped out u can still notice it, by the image being stretch, so the best bet is to stay with the raw video

oh, alastor, one update on my anime choice: you can edit 'Hellsing Ultimate OVA or Soultaker', since I will be using the ultimate ova if I'd use hellsing.

...so the original hellsing is open for everyone^^

You completely miss the point. Raw footage is any footage that is sub or other wise disturbance free. I am not telling you to download footage at all; I don't publicly endorse that. I am telling you that using subtitled footage is wrong. Go buy the DVD/VHS or just change your source. It's that simple if you can't be bothered to look past the obvious, just don’t bother at all.
And if it’s the cost of the R2 DVDs that frightens you, privately ask for endorsement. Many of us whom spend the unghastly dollar amount on expensive R2 have no problem aiding the cause. So just be decent DAMNIT! Don’t set out in a deliberate attempt to break the rules of the site.
