Ms. Anime Universe Year5, Round1: Prelims (Read First Post)

Megaman: I was planning to start this at the beginning of June, but I changed my mind.

Chad: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the 5th Annual Miss Anime Universe Contest. I'm Chad.
Chuck: I'm Chuck. Apparently our colleague, Bob is still missing. And if anyone sees him, he is armed, dangerous, and completely psychotic. In any case, avoid him at all costs.
Chad: Wow! It's really been 5 years? We must have some rich fulfilling lives! [sarcasm]
Chuck: We sure do. [sarcasm]
Chad: Anyways, joining us this year, and here to explain the rules, from Full Metal Panic!, Sousuke Sagara. And the winner of the 2008 Mr. Anime Universe contest, from The Legend of Zelda, Link!

Link: Hey there! Here are the first round rules (same as last year's):

01) A preliminary contest will be held were anyone can sumbit photos of the girl they want to see in this wonderful contest.

02) The submission must have a name, age, and anime they are from. (Multiple pictures of said character are allowed)
(We would prefer it if you let our announcers introduce your entrant.)

03) The picture must fit the following parameters:
a) The picture must fit to the rules of the Anime Screen Caps Forum.
b) No bathing suit or lingerie pictures until that part of the competition.
c) The picture must be of them and only them. Multiple character pics are not allowed.

04) After the preliminary ten contestants will be chosen and then voted upon by our great viewers here in this thread when Megaman says so.

05) Each contestant will have to present the following during the contest. The person that submitted the girl has to submit everything else for the contestant. These are the Category's:

a) Swimsuit/Lingerie contest
b) Talent contest
c) If need be, a Q&A contest. (I will ask them questions and they will answer them according to what they think the person would say.)

06)Only one submission is allowed per person.

07)Two or more people cannot submit the same character.

08)The winners of any and all previous Miss Anime Universe contests will not be allowed to enter any future Miss Anime Universe contests. Their sponsors are more than welcomed to participate again (with different entries.)
2005 Winner: Rei Ayanami (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
2006 Winners: Asahina Mikuru (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Rider (Fate/Stay Night), and Dita Liebely (Vandread)
2007 Winner: Lucy/Nyuu (Elfen Lied)
2008 Winner: Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh!)

09)There may be a house entrant, sponsored by our host, Megaman, who will have absolutely no advantage over any of the other contestants.

10)This preliminary round will stay open for no more than two weeks, unless Megaman says otherwise.

Chad: Unfortunately...

Chuck: For the 5th year running, it's Faye Valentine. This 62-year-old hottie from Cowboy Bebop is the contest's proverbial underdog, earning much prestige for receiving a single vote in the final round of the first competition! Her interests are pina coladas and catching bounties in the rain! Faye, is there anything you would like to say at the beginning of this fateful year?
Faye: Yes, Charles, I would. *takes the microphone* Ahem... HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME! HE'S BEEN KEEPING ME IN A CAGE FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS! THIS IS THE FIRST SUNSHINE I'VE SEEN IN HALF A YEAR! PLEASE SOMEONE STOP THIS PSYCH-*falls over, twitching and foaming at the mouth*
Hunter: *puts the stungun away* Ahem... Stand over there then?
Chuck: Anywhere except next to me... Chad, who do we have next?

Chad: Right, Chuck. Judging from the sponsor... can we expect another loli this year?
/me: Hey! It's no lik- oh nevermind, I guess you're right. :s
Chad: Ok, but... where's your contestant anyway?
/me: Oh... well, she's either napping somewhere around here, or...*crash sound & glass falling*...yeah, there.
Chuck: *grabs phone* Hello? Yeah, we'll need another new window, thanks and bye.

Sousuke: Miss Wurpess?

Wurpess: Yep. It's me! Did you miss me?

Sousuke: Um, Miss Wurpess, I can't breathe.

Wurpess: Oh, sorry.

SGM Mao: Oh, so that's where you went. I thought I lost you back there, wurpess.

Sousuke: Um, SGM, what are you doing here?

SGM Mao: I'm entering the contest.

Sousuke: Um, ma'am, you do know this is a beauty pageant, right?

SGM Mao: Are you saying I'm not beautiful?!



Sousuke: Um, no! Of course not! Not at all. You're very beautiful. It's just if this was an Arm Slave battle or a drinking contest, I could see you participating. I just don't really picture you doing something as feminine as a beauty pageant.

SGM Mao: You don't think I'm feminine enough?! I'm plenty feminine!



Sousuke: Negative, ma'am, I didn't mean it like that! I just-

Wurpess: Um, Sousuke. Maybe you should just announce her.

Sousuke: Oh, right. I appologize. *Turns to Chad and Chuck* Permission to announce the next contestant, sirs!

Chuck: Yeah, whatever.

Sousuke: The next contestant is my team leader, the extremely beautiful and feminine SGM Melissa Mao!

SGM Mao: Are you trying to be funny, Sousuke?

Sousuke: Not at all, ma'am.

Chad turns to Chuck: And speaking of that box, I was looking online and it turns out-

Chuck: Excuse me?
8bit_samurai: This is a lot sooner than I expected.
Chuck: You still have plenty of time, the prelims have only started. If you want to you can come back-
8bit_samurai pulls a small radio from his pocket: White Fox to Alpha Foxtrot. White Fox to Alpha Foxtrot.
Chad and Chuck turn to each other: Wat.
Voice in radio: What do you want? I'm kinda busy here. Over
8bit_samurai: Are you able to make it to the Fountain over.
Voice in radio: I'm sorry, 8bits. I can't help you out this year. Over.
8bit_samurai: Thanks anyway. See you on the range. Over.
Chad and Chuck:...
8bit_samurai: White Fox to Beta Foxtrot. White Fox to Beta Foxtrot.
Voice in radio: This is Beta Foxtrot, go ahead.
8bit_samurai: Alpha is unable to make it to the Fountain. Are you able to make it to the Fountain over.
Voice in radio: Sure I'll be over in a lil bit. Over.
8bit_samurai: Great, I'll have your wardrobe prepared over.
Voice in radio:Thank you, Beta Foxtrot over and out.

8bit_samurai: If you excuse us we have to make sure her wardrobe fits.

8bit_samurai: Had to return a few outfits and get a few new ones. Pretty long story.

Chuck: Well, he is still new to this contest.
