Its my first attempt at making a background, so forgive me.

I like it though. I made it just for this thread.

And immorrel reminded me of the remake I had done of the middle Tifa wallpaper.

Is it okay if we just do "photoshoped artwork"? 'cause almost all my stuff is sigs.

@76: Pretty good for a first try, next time try blending in your render abit more. And the background looks kinda like it used to be real small, but was then blown up a bunch.

Well, I was okay with blowing the image up because it helped throw the focus back at the foreground image. I thought it gave it a bit more depth.

I shall try harder in the future!

bluring the background is actually a pretty good technique for adding depth, it's just that there's a slight (annoying :/ ) difference between soft bluring, and the jagged pixely bluring you get when you blow something up. ;)

in no particular order....

Well, that explains your complaint about sig restrictions.

Good stuff.

I knocked it down to 100 dpi and softened the background image. Also, the purple tent isn't as prominent.

I hope this is a bit better.

Only wallpaper I've made myself so far. Not anime related and not too flashy either. Just an idea I needed to put out.
