lol the one with the gun ehhh, well i didnt render that...that good... i mean i stopped at like 75% take note to the white patches i was to lazy to finish

and to answer your question, it takes time to make a clean crisp render, and even if you get a nice render the white outline is cool

i almost always use it, even when i got a perfectly rendered pic... idk why...lol

btw, what do your renders look like?

For the one I added (the bottom shounen-ai one) I used photoshop. First I went through with the magic wand tool to take out as much of the background as I could (since it was a semi-simple background. The lasso tool is also helpful, particularly with the more complex backgrounds), then zoomed in and erased any extra pieces of the background that was left/smoothed out any rough edges. And voila! *^_^* If you mean quality, I never resize my images more than once. The 'save for web' option is your friend. (More quality for smaller file size) So are the filters and image adjustment options. (though they weren't used here)
