It was getting almost forced feeling.
I liked 06 though.
This show putting the cute model fashion girl in the roll of the pervy otaku is just so at odds with what I am used to

I think that's why I'm liking this series so much, it completely steps away from the norms and stereotypes.
Most series similar to this one have similar themes: most imoutos are either tsundere or "oniiiiichan" types, the guy usually has a harem of girls who love him even though he has absolutely no redeeming qualities, and there usually a bunch of fanservice thrown in randomly. oh, and no matter how much the girls love the main character he's always a dumba** who never realizes it no matter how obvious it is.
in this series the guy is actually a semi-decent person who is trying hard to look out for his sister who starts out as a complete b****, and as a result he's a complete deviant in the eyes of the world as he takes a lot of falls for her. No girls like him aside from his childhood friend, and I'm pretty sure he actually does realize she likes him but ep 6 sorta tells why he doesnt respond.
either way, just because this is so far from the typical series I'm loving it, always nice to have some fresh air in the anime world
