Well this anime IS based off of an idea from American comic book writer Stan Lee. So it is unique in that way, and thats why the Joey's name is at is is: its Stan Lee's concept. xD

Any predictions on how this series is going to end?

I think that the creator of the robots will find earth, threaten, then die by one super dynami-kick-ass punch to the gonads. But that's just a theory. I have no evidence to back it up. Oh, that and Risa will admit her love blah, blah, blah, blah, rainbows.

"Well, we got the Big Bad down for now, but there's still evil in the world." kind of ending + the couple not exactly clearly set up. A non-ending of sorts let's say. Also known as Rumiko Takahashi ending or... BONES ending, which is why I find it somewhat likely.

I lol'd. xD I imagine there will be a rainbow at the end as well.
I also agree with mirkosp's ending: it just seems like that sort of anime that would receive that ending to me as well.

I'm also having this annoying buzz at the back of my mind saying that it might end up like The Iron Giant. Joey's giant toy robot will probably either destroy itself, live somewhere else with a race that maybe created it, or it'll return to its toy robot form.

I've given up on anime endings, they typically all leave me feeling empty. There are those rare few though.

Episode 1 was great! =D I liked the opening and the ending, and the characters are likeable. :'D (Especially the Scientist. YES, HIS PREDICTED AWESOMENESS WAS RIGHT! xD)
My only nitpicks with this show would be that Joey sounds a little too girly and at this point, the show seems a little predictable. Also, the aliens should have a reason to invade, if anything. x_x
But otherwise, its good stuff.

Especially this part:

This made my day. Stan Lee (or a similar look-alike) in this. xD

Love how Stan Lee always seems to find his way into everything he's a part of (Spiderman and The Fantastic 4 for example) =p

This was enjoyable enough. Even though I was beat over the head with AMERICAN :O But that made me lol, and this has the nostalgic feel of some Saturday morning cartoons, so I shall watch.

nonetheless. Im talking about the OP BTW.

Also BTW: Did anyone else see Stan "The Man" Lee in anime form during the OP too? He was in that diner scene in the back .

The Heroman is a good stuff of entertainment. This would be one of the most unique kind of series. Stan Lee has got good kind innovative ideas in it.

Well, the second episode contained a lot of great punches! xD; I think the story's moving a bit too fast, and Joey needs to do more than stand there and command him. Otherwise, its going alright (although by episode 2, my rating of it has dropped from an 8 to a 7. I hope episode 3 doesn't make me drop it to 6. ._.)

Is anyone else besides me really loving the soundtrack for this series? I mean seriously, its awesome! I'm going to have to look up who composed it ('doesn't sound like Naoki Satou due to its abstract-ness in the choices of the songs, so I'm really curious to see who it is.)

I have a feeling I'll probably like the dub of Heroman more than the sub. Joey's girly pre-pubescent voice bugs me a lot. xD
'Looking forward to episode 3!

Bones has been ripping Gainax shit for years. Doesn't surprize me in the slightest.

Episode 4:

*sigh* Only 4 episodes in, and one of the main'ish characters already has a rape face. o_o xD
Also, the Grandma is TINY. Shortest anime women ever.

This show wasn't what I expected, but I'm still enjoying it big time. =D
