Episode 3! We got ourselves a somewhat stand-alone episode with Judgment getting another mission.
Spoiler :
The girls now has to apprehend the suspect who has the ability to herself invisible only towards her victim. It turns out once she stuns her victims with a taser she.......well due to the fact she got depressed and then angry over her old boyfriend who broke up with her due to her eyebrows, you can probably guess what she did to them.
Funny thing is that near the end Ruiko actually complemented on the girl's eyebrows, and of course she reacted by going blushy blushy. Well that turned out to be another link to these web of relationships!
There was some subtle foreshadowing though.
Spoiler :
It seems when Kazari starting going through the database about the girl, it turns out she's supposed to be Level 2, but that girl displayed her ability that's above that level. Kuroko brushed off the possibility that the database is wrong. Hmmm......
This was a rather interesting episode based on the fact we get to see the girls work together and tackle on a case like you see in those action thriller cop/FBI/special agent shows. Kazari working her magic on the computer diligently was amusing; she almost reminds me of Chloe from 24. Though I have to say, when Kazari and Ruiko first entered the School Garden, the backgrounds looks really damn exquisite; it makes me want to go there!
Episode 4! Oh wow, that was damn GOOD. This episode definitely laid some foundation of an upcoming plot in the future
Spoiler :
with Misaka meeting up a rather tired-looking female researcher (she's in the OP so she's obviously important) who doesn't quite have the usual social skills. She's been labeled in an urban legend as the one who undresses herself randomly in front people. According to Ruiko, it seems the legend got expanded by having the person who witnessed the researcher stripping ended up stripping themselves, much to Kuroko's dismay.
But of course for most people, they'll be excited for
Spoiler :
Misaka fighting against Touma! She pull a hefty trick involving taking the iron sand and turning it into a chainsaw whip weapon! Of course, everything she throws at him is ineffective.
Alright, I had stopped watching at episode 2 for one reason, to finish Magical Index. I wanted to check out everything that existed leading up to this show, and so far I'm not disappointed. Yesterday I marathoned Magical Index up to ep 22 or so, tonight I finish it and continue Railgun
I can't wait based on the posts I'm seeing here. Also Mikachu = epicfuckwin.
From what I gathered the 1st volume will contain 3 episodes, and they're planning to release 8 blu-ray volumes. That means this series will last for 24 episodes.
