I was beginning to think the world had forgotten this show.

You should be saying, "THE AWESOME MANLINESS IS MAKING MY BALLS BURST WITH POWER!"

The better shounen genre.

I love how this anime gets a catch phrase for the title rather than simply the anime title

SO LIKE, A NEW CHALLENGER HAS ARRIVED
THAT STANDS THREE TIMES AS TALL AS ANYONE ELSE
THAT IS SO MANLY, WHEN HE RAISES HIS FIST
THE CLOUDS IN THE AIR PART
AND THE LIGHT OF HEAVEN SHINES DOWN
AND WHEN HE PUNCHES THE GROUND
THE VERY EARTH RISES TO HIS COMMAND

...
...
...

On a more serious note, a new dark power has arisen in the form of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who wishes to unite feudal Japan under his grasp. The three main lord powers with their respective compatriots from last season (Date, Takeda, and Kenshin) return and two new lords have also been introduced.

First ep was still as flamboyantly badass as ever and once again this show is a must watch for me this season.

I quite enjoyed the double opening. That was refreshing beyond words.

Sengoku Basara 2

The continuation of the anime Sengoku Basara. During a feudal period, two warring clans collide as per the normal routine. During one of their many fights, Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune step up to the plate and commence their own battle to fuel their rivalry. A new overlord of the Toyotomi clan suddenly steps in to disrupt their battle, ordering all to fall under his command. From this, Sengoku Basara 2's "party" officially starts!
Episode 1 aired last Sunday, and I just watched it today. 'Gotta admit, I'm pretty excited over this new season! Episode 1's execution kept that same air of greatness that Season 1 had, and I enjoyed it. Definitely continuing this one.

(Also, I'm beginning to miss Nobunaga after Monkey-yoshi appeared as the new villain. ._.; )
