Here's my late episode 13 thoughts:

Tanned Azusa jokes = win!

Azusa's daydreams = trippy.

Tempting Jun with tales of the Light Music Club activities (summer training at a villa and attending a rock festival) was great. Do we see hints of the future?

Seeing the girls all have fun together = priceless.

Now, the preview left me with little clue about the next episode's contents. But I was pleasantly surprised at what I watched.

Episode 14:
Spoiler :
Yay! It's the Ritsu and Mugi "date" story! Mugi's reactions and facial expressions were so priceless the entire episode.

New OP! Cute animation, but the song's gonna have to grow on me like the previous one. I love the bit where the audience spins around with Yui. :D

I love Mugi's "win" pose when she beat the arm wrestling game.

Yui, aren't you overreacting to Nodoka eating your strawberry?

Hah, Mugi wants to hug someone like Yui hugs Azusa. And she wants to be hit like Mio does to Ritsu?

All the stuff that Ritsu and Mugi did to try to get Mio to hit Mugi amused me greatly.

Mugi and the strawberry theft had me laughing so hard. The bit was set up so early in the episode and they kinda threw me a bit with the forehead flick so I didn't see it coming until Yui made the comment about her strawberry. The fact that Mio didn't react except just well up with tears and Yui went to go get Nodoka just put it over the top. My cheeks still hurt.

Embarrassed Ritsu is so cute. I guess Mugi found Ritsu's weakness and got hit (finally) for her reward.

And finally, a new ED. This song I like quite a bit. And the girls look quite nice. Still doing the 80's style theme, I see.

I haven't been catching up to this (maybe that'll be my job for today) but I saw the new ED and OP on Youtube. New ED is rather nice, and the new OP is even worse than the first one. x_x;

Alright, I'll admit that episode 14 made me like mugi a bit more. That was pretty cute. So I guess they're going for a full 24 episodes this season, eh?

I liked the first OP.....but the new one is kinda.......ummmm.....yeah.

But the new ED is so badass. I just noticed that Yui always sings the overly silly and happy OPs while Mio always sings the more serious EDs.

I thought OP 1 was catchy after a few more listens, but I still didn't like the song because of its pace. They sounded like chipmunks. o.o
OP2 just has... no beat... all random rhythm. I'm having a hard time understanding it.

'Will catch up to S2 soon.

But Lucky Star's had beat.
And constant rhythm.

I'm not catching either of those in this new OP very much. ._. Though you're right about the fast-paced songs being a hit in Japan. I remember spotting OP1's 'Go Go Maniac!' taking #1 on the charts, even beating 'Listen!' which surprised me.

This one is for Chihiro even though I know they won't see it.

Stop subbing until you have a goddamned clue how to do it.

3 strikes and you are out. 3 files I have downloaded and none of them play properly, they all crash after a few monutes.

No people I have NO trouble playing anyone else's files. K-On runs just fine from other groups. Maybe if Chihiro spent 5 more minutes on the files, rather than rushing to be first, they would run. All 3 files, same problems.

No I don't feel like redoing repacking converting or in any fashion doing what shouldn't be needed.

Sorry for the vent, just needed to scream.

I'll get 14 from someone else.

Update your CCCP to 2010-05-21 beta. Sounds like outdated decoders/splitters giving trouble. Or you might be using cancerous VLC. :nono:
Chihiro's encoder isn't exactly the best around, but I believe she's good enough to not randomly break encodes like you lament. Although I know she adds garbage info at the end of her MKVs to get fancy CRC32s. Doubt that'd cause any issue, but duh.

.. its not just Chihiro, Airota and HA plus others are also having the same errors.
These errors can be from a 200 frame recoils with no audio to an endless loop
twards the end of the encode -- locking you into an un-excape-able player.
( this kinda thing has now moved onto Utube as well; so its not the players. )

The only thing they all have in common is, "removing the sub corrects the video!"
