I think Mio's a bit too old and too developed for Pedobear.

Episode 5....BWAHAHAHA, oh Sawako! Your increased presence has now made this show even more AWESOME!

In a nutshell,
Spoiler :
it seems the club has to go through some logistics in order to be recognized as a club (which Ritsu utterly failed to do) so they can officially perform in the upcoming cultural festival.

A lot of moments in this episode:

Spoiler :
- Peeled skin. Yeah, Mio is still afraid of those.
- Hey, Sawako is a really pretty and nice teacher....until Yui questioned her about being in the light music club before.
-*enter DRAMATIC "chase" scene*
- Only to be foiled when she found a missing picture in the old album which confirmed the girls' suspicion that Sawako was in the club before.
- *CUE FLASHEBACK* Someone in the fansub forum mentioned KyoAni threw in a Slipknot reference
- Nooo, Yui! Don't give Sawako your Les Paul or else....
- Oh boy! Sawako is now a female Krauser from DMC.
- I think I'm in love!!! (click me!)
- Mio should have her pony-tail up more. (click me)
- Mio's lyrics are done, but they're utterly too saccharine!
- I loved the moment Ritsu flat out avoided Yui in deciding who's going to sing until the very last moment.
- So Yui has been chosen to sing. Problem is that she can't sing and play the guitar at the same time.
- It's confirmed. Tsumugi is a closet yuri fangirl! My interest of her has just increased 10-fold. 8-)
- Yui is back after taking private lessons from the teacher (hehehe...). But, unfortunately Yui lost her voice in the process!
- So in the end, Mio has to sing the lyrics she wrote. YAY!!!!

Episode 5 summary and impressions:

Spoiler :
Ritsu and Yui are looking at the photo album Mio found last episode. Doesn't that person look familiar?
Yui hurts her finger practicing with her guitar. Ritsu takes advantage of Mio's squeamishness to tease her.
Mugi goes into stalker mode.
Sawako-sensei doesn't play guitar, but had a friend who played. Sure. A friend.
The club's request to use the stage is denied? It's because they aren't a recognized club? Time to find out why.
Gosh Yui has some reliable people in her life to help her out. Last time it was her sister Ui, now it's her friend Nodoka.
Now to find an adviser for the club. How about Sawako-sensei?
She turns it down? Then it's time for blackmail!
YURI GOGGLES TO MAXIMUM!
Mio gets tasked to write lyrics to the song they'll play during the school festival. My god, they are so light and fluffy.
Sawa-chan! Sawa-chan?
Ritsu gets out-voted in trying to use different lyrics. So she decides that Mio should sing.
Mio refuses because the lyrics are embarrassing to sing. Ok, then let's go to plan B: Mugi or Yui.
Mugi turns it down. So... Are you sure Mugi? Really?
It's left to Yui then. But she can't play guitar and sing at the same time.
Sawako-sensei offers to give Yui special training. And it works. But, oops.
I guess Mio is going to sing after all. :P

All in all, another enjoyable episode. With Mio freaking out, Yui acting cute, Ritsu acting silly, and Mugi... Heh. And Sawako-sensei being a bad-ass teacher.

Good grief, just because their isn't a defacto male part in the show, doesn't make it yuri eh.

But ep 05 was really fun to watch.
