Just watched the trailer today and I gotta say... The animation is pretty nice. It's got a souleater craziness kinda feel to it too regardless of the robots / sport. I'm definitely gonna be checkin into the anime.

Consider my interest peaked.
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.
I'm just that kind of person. - Sousuke Sagara

The fact that the mechs have cars as their heads tells me that they got influenced by that cartoon Megas XLR.

If you watch the trailer from 1:04+ you get the feeling this is gonna be more then just a sports anime.

Well atleast I'm hoping so. I liked IGPX overall so my opinion's likely biased. This anime looks like an IGPX styled anime on crack which works for me, possibly even better.

Three episodes in, and I have to say:

- Animation is freakin' SICK! The Satelight staff who worked on Macross Frontier definitely gave this the same amount of love.
- So far this didn't really have much of the usual shounen set-ups like you see in most sport genres.
- Having Dan become the Dunk Mask in order to help his crippled sister definitely gave me Code Geass vibes, but Dan is too much of a hot-head to be even cunning. And it seems like his sister hates him.
- The girls'....bouncing....I mean, look at Miyuki!
- Hell, that other chick, Sela, is just BEGGING to be raped. She has a tendency of getting orgasmic every time she gets beaten hard....yeah!
- And there's Haruka Glacier....my GOD!!!
- Iceman was a lot more psychotic than I realized. Having the same VA who did Tomoya in Clannad made it fairly amusing especially with this plot setting.

The filesize for these episode are huge so I don't know if my laptop can handle it. Fun series so far. Quite of bit of sexual innuendo!
