ef - a tale of melodies

The OP sequence is now available to be downloaded at their website!

Whoa, this one is mostly black and white, and it looks like this series will deal with two couples: Mizuki and Shuuichi and Yuuko and Yuu. Quite of bit of symbolic imagery that may foreshadow future events, and it's interesting there's quite a bit of German writing in the background (German users, I summon you to check the correctness and possibly give us the gist of what the text is saying!!!). For some reason the OP song sounded liked a remixed version of something else I've heard before, but I can't out my finger onto it.

Man, I can't wait for episode 1! 8-)

also looking forward to ep 1

I was kinda hoping the op would be the song used in the promotional video, but I like this one as well

Impressive OP material, as to be expected from ef.

A lot of good OPs this season to be honest, and while this is the most artistic, Kannagi's OP remains my favorite thus far (surprisingly)

Anyway, I can't wait to see what they have in store for us, given that it took a few episodes from first season for me to really get into this, I'm looking forward to see the end of the story, as that's where (for me) it really began to reach epic levels and it's what defined this anime for me.

woah the ef op is again really pretty.
Don't know if I will follow it or just wait until it's finished and watch the whole thing. A lot of good stuff this fall to watch :3

I approve of the German in the OP

memories.
melodies.

I think you need to be a 'lil more specific there oro.

Just kidding, but seriously, "atom" no longer describes just the first season.

how annoying, doesn't the world undestand how much effort it is to type in one extra letter or word? k im going to use ef* to denote melodies now.

k chihiro subbed it except no typesetting or kareoke but as Flame-X says about fansubs "fuck that". So yeah watched ep1 of ef*. Wasn't too exciting compared to atom. Seems that Miyuki is Renji's cousin. But yeah gotta love the presentation once again with random abstract frames here and there =)

I'm still waiting on a non-Chihiro sub.

Im assuming that another group is working on it, and that Chihiro is the only one out so far because they do only a basic subbing job and don't even sub the opening.

Or are they the only one and I'm wasting my time waiting for something that isn't coming?

there is nothing wrong with Chihiro-subs... they are one of the newer and growing subbers taking on newer shows. Because lets face it, eclipse always bites more than it can chew.

What about their quality? That's far more important than karaoke and typesetting... :D
As for other fansub groups,I'm waiting for Menclave, not Eclipse to take up the project...
