I guess in the early designs she resembled Ciel from Tsukihime.

Then it's pillow war... :<

Also, yes, she was originally supposed to look more like Ciel, I have read it somewhere. But after she became sister of... her sister (don't remember the other witch's name), she was redrawn to ressemble her more.

The 6th movie titled "Oblivion Recording" is out, or I would like to call it Azaka-sama ga Miteru.

Compared to the past 5 movies, this one in particular is a bit more light-hearted (until we got to the end of the credits). And of course.....

Image

....oh god!

As you may have guess, this movie gave Azaka more screen time,
Spoiler :
and it delved on how (and not to mention figuring out why) she's in love with her brother Mikiya, gave us a glimpse of her fire magic, and showed her jealously fit towards Shiki for her spending too much time with Mikiya. Leave it to Touko on complicating on Azaka's rivalry on Shiki by having those two work together at an all-girl Catholic school on an incident dealing with fairies. It seems like someone has the ability to control the fairies in which they can take away memories. This relates to the recent death of a school girl who saw those fairies. The entire plot was surprisingly straightforward though.

Great movie as always... but it needs more bedroom wrestling! The credits were... er... surprisingly violent.
This movie has made me realize something as well: I'm in LOVE with Azaka :ying:

No its movies not ova's so it might be longer then 6-7 months for the next dvd release. Kara No Kyokia is a 7 part movie series.

With that outa the way i thought it was a good part mainly because it added more character development. The next and last movie should be really interesting I'm waiting to see how they will close this series.

No, the first 3 movies premiered in Japanese theatres in quick succession (Dec. 1, 2007, Dec. 29, 2007, and Jan. 26, 2008), and were released to DVD in May, June, and July 2008, respectively.

The 4th movie premiered in theatres in May 2008, close to the end of the month (whereas the DVD of the first movie was released in early May), and it went to DVD in Dec. 2008. The fifth film premiered in theatres in August 2008 and went to DVD in Jan. 2009. The 6th was in theatres in Dec. 2008, and was released on DVD about a week ago. Finally, the last movie will be premiering in theatres about a week from now, on the 8th.

Japanese DVD release cycles just often take 7-8 months or so from the time the movie premiere occurs. The first two Bleach movies premiered in December and weren't released to DVD until the following August or September (which will likely be true for the 3rd movie as well, considering it was in theatres last December also). Rebuild of Evangelion had similar time between it's theatrical and DVD releases, if you count just the time between 1.0 and the release of DVD 1.0, not 1.01 or 1.11, which would push the time back even farther.

I'm not exactly thrilled. Most of the time my expectations are crushed like balls with a nutcracker. Half the time it's like reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and wanted to slit your wrist for even having ANY sort of expectations.
