I loved this part as well. Animation was top-notch as always, music as well. And I'm liking the fact that Jouji Nakata will voice Souren Araya, seeing as he voiced the Kirei Kotomine in Fate/Stay Night. Can't wait for part 5, we'll also get to hear Sprinter as the next ending!
Whoaaa!! Just got a nice glimpse of this movie series on youtube. The animation in this series is great and action is flawless. Music sounds top-notch.
So, this is a movie series, huh? Anyway, I'm letting my brother know about it so we could start collecting all the movies.
One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes. One who doesn't ask a question is a fool FOREVER....... ~Chinese Proverb~
Been watching it ever since the first movie came out.
As far as other TYPE-MOON stuff is concerned, I've mainly just played the Tsukihime games (although I'm still just about halfway through Kagetsu Tohya), and with Fate/Stay Night I've only barely begun playing it.
The one major link between Kara no Kyoukai and Tsukihime that I find interesting is in the concept of the Four Families (although the real mention of them occurs in Tsukihime, all of them are introduced between both).
pretty much watched this for the typemoon goodness and i was not displeased though the anime remakes of their novel works like FSN, and Tsukihime are left to be desired this one did the drama cd / novel justice and it flows brilliantly. So i now eagerly await the next installment.
Here's the fifth movie that's titled "Paradox Spiral", and......holy fu**! Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT watch this with a laid back mindset because as the title implies, the entire plot is one gigantic mindscrew dealing with that apartment having me attempting to condense it will rack my brain (remember, this movie is 2 hours long!!!). This is especially true
Spoiler :
with the movie being split between two perspectives; Shiki's and Mikiya's. And not to mention the gore has been upped significantly in a non-gratuitous matter. The moment the first Touko got brutally killed by Araya was gruesome, but having that Willy Wonka look-a-like named Cornelius playing around Touko's severed head in front Mikiya was just.....no!
Of course knowing Touko's knack of planning ahead, that Touko that was killed was a "fake", right?
The fight scenes were definitely the highlight of this movie, and it made me cry with joy! Damn they were gorgeous especially with Yuki Kajiura's music.
