Kara no Kyoukai - The Garden of Sinners

Postby OropherZero » Wed May 21, 2008 7:57 am

I've been waiting for this for a year, being the Type-Moon fan I am. My expectations are pretty high too because I enjoyed Tsuhikime and Fate Stay Night. The first part of the movie has just been subbed released, anyone else getting this?

Now that's a silly question! :o

Though I may need to watch it again since I was half asleep and didn't get the full appreciation of Part 1 of the movie. It did have the usual ufotable's trademark claymation sequence at the beginning of the movie which I thought was very amusing!

Can´t wait to see the movie/s!
I really like Type-Moons workings and the previews I have seen look awsome. So I`ll definitely watch it! ...probably already today :P

It was porn. Both visually and musically.

The music really helped make this for me. For example, the fight has some nice visuals, but the music really made it epic

Yes, a TYPE-MOON project with music by Yuki Kajiura has always been one of my biggest fantasies.

main guy looks like Shiki from Tsukihime, main girl can see lines and cut them with a dagger.... just like the same church from Tsukihime was in Fate Stay Night, Type-Moon likes including crap from its other works into other ones =|

Anyway the start had a good creep atmosphere DISH OUT THOSE HORROR AMVS, most of the dialogue was slow and boring, then came the one action scene in the entire first movie which got a HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME ANIMATION!!ONR111EON11!!! reaction from me.

Think the second DVD will be out in 2 months.

And yeah Yuki's music always sends chills down my spine for its awesome vocals.

Just to make a note, but Kara no Kyoukai was really the "first" work the peeps who later formed TYPE-MOON made. Heck, a lot of the elements found in the movie was considered a prototype for their first doujin game Tsukihime.

And this should prove to be really interesting!
