No love for the greatest show of the new 2008 Spring release?

The character designs are amazing, and the backgrounds are comparable to that of Kimikiss and Honey and Clover. I also really enjoy the VAs for this show, everyone fits very nicely with their role, which is like a huge plus for me. The fight sequences are very smooth and well animated, and I enjoy the balance between the light hearted moments and more serious scenes.

Watching the first episode reminded me a great deal of multiple different anime I've seen, one of them being Code Geass, which isn't exactly a bad thing at all. However after episode 2 all traces of familiarity are lost as you get completely wrapped up in their story.

I love the OP and ED, it got me addicted so fast. Also, Ranmei is win:

So, who else is following this series? I just finished episode 3 which was filled with awesome. I presume this and Code Geass R2 will be the only new shows I will follow fanatically for this spring release.

Lastly, if a mod could move this thread to series discussion, that would be much appreciated.

For some odd reason the whole atmosphere is seriously giving me Loveless vibes which make me a bit uncomfortable (Rie Kugimiya playing a devious little boy doesn't help at all). I'll probably check this out when it gets licensed here; this seems to be the type of series that can do well here in the U.S.

I'm making the karaoke for a greek hd fansub of this, so I'll most probably watch it sooner or later. :p
It does seem interesting though, loving the character designs.

Sorry, but considering the word ninja occurred way too many times in the plot summary I read. I think I might pass on this one.

Not that I hate ninjas, but a show that focused on ninjas? Well I don't like Naruto either.

I prefer girl meets boy or boy meets girl.

Not too big on ninja meets ninjas, ninjas meet ninja.

It is .... special ..... very special :P

not bad till now. But I generally don't like overpowered protagonists.

How he handles the teacher is just hilarious

Quoted for truth, this is an amazing show that really doesn't have any relation to Naruto, I mean come on, ninja =/= naruto.

@ mal shuir: What episode are you on? You'll see in episode 3 it's not Rokujou that's overpowered x'D

Also, just finished episode 5, talk about a friggen cliffhanger D:

By Looking at that first Picture I can only say that I do not like the character design at all. The 2nd Picture looks better, but I think that's just because I'm horny for angry girls. I dunno, I may check this out.

For the record, I wasn't "comparing" it to Naruto.

Both have too many ninjas, and not everyone obsesses over ninjas.

It doesn't have enough cute schoolgirls, thus it fails.

But if you stare at Miharu long enough, he might become a cute schoolgirl!

I'm on the fence on this show myself.

25% gal action for the crew so far by ep 4.

The fighting is just fine.

Best fights so far are still in Soul Hunter's neighborhood though

I'm watching it...so far I really like the art style and the animation. Also, the random comedic bits are really good :3

Exactly what I was feeling throughout the first episode. It is the hair. It's too... yeah. :|
Beginning was a little fast, but not necessarily a bad thing. Pretty much failed at explanations, but got right to the fights. Tackling through the window made me lol.
Will try to get caught up in a few days.
