Kimikiss Pure Rouge

Ok, if I can't get the thread made for me, I suppose I have to do it myself, and let them move it. I have no beef with that.

Sooo anyone like me, just watched the 24th show?

I think I'm putting this on my buy list, because a fan sub copy isn't likely enough for me now :)

I've not gotten so strongly emotionally drawn into a romance drama since KOR.

It was a very simple, cliched highschool drama/romance but I loved it. It's definitely on my 'to AMV' list for its simplicity...the raws are beyond shit though I'm going to have to wait out the dvds for once. Like a lot of people I found the Sakino/Aihara/Futami triangle way better than the Mao/Kouichi/Yuumi/umm whats that dudes name, he got pushed out of the series pretty fast. A shame that the rich girl/class president/Hiiragi triangle wasn't done. Udon girls ruined the anime and should be death-noted for being so annoying. But yes.

FUTAMI FTW

The anime is pretty much about cute girls and characters with awesome famous Seiyuus (Kouichi = Yuuji from Shana, rich girl = Hecate from Shana, Hiiragi = Lelouch from Code Geass, Futami = Lacus from GS (wtf) and the list goes on).

Kimikiss was enjoyable to watch. I agree with Oropher Zero that the Aihara/Futami/Sakino triangle was better then the Mao/Yuumi/Koichi/Kai one. I totally disliked Yuumi and Kai so I cared less about them. The Mao and Koichi ending felt for me kinda rushed.

So yeah, Udon girls just wasted time in every eps and Hiiragi, the rich girl and the class president should have got more screen time :|

To some extent, I have to agree, the udon girls were often a bit over done.

In as much as nearly all anime that has ANY romance in it, is a bit cliched, I won't fault Kimikiss for being just as cliched.

It's not hard to predict some things though. That's not a negative.

Because of the high recommendations of this anime, I decided to start watching this.

And I'm really glad I did. Finished episode 5 just before, and it's awesome stuff d('-'d)

It was the character designs that really blew me away, everything looks so good. I am addicted to the OP and ED themes ;A;

I also was rather taken with the opening sequence of the show, and usually would watch it all the way through each time. The graphics are nice, but I found I really liked the tune too.

The show is done really well in the "just gotta see the next ep" aspect as well.

I usually download an entire series in fan sub and watch the entire thing as a whole, but I found myself totally unable to resist the urge with this series after watching the first couple of eps.

One of the few series I have watched where I made myself suffer waiting on each next show to arrive.

Wow, it's like you read my mind. I pretty much have nothing to add with everything you just said, 100% spot on with what I was thinking...

Damnit episode 6... HURRY THE F*CK UP D:<

Are you still waiting on sp 6 Pas?

I mean, I've already watched the entire season.

Now I'm on to hoping I can find a good deal on the dvds sooner than later.

Just finished episode 20. Hawt shet d('-'d)

I have to wonder though, what the hell happened with the animation halfway through? Like the first half was the usual, but the second part of it was like top-friggen-notch beautiful animation quality. Compare:

1st Half:

2nd Half:

Not one to complain, but damn that's one huge shift, especially for in-episode.
