Never mind. Just checked wikipedia. Japanese perversion never ceases to amaze me. Make the 14 year olds look like they're in their 20's and the 17-18 year olds look like their 12. Those kooky Japanese...

Ok...ep 13...some interesting developments and speculations. Looks like our Great Gurren Brigade will aquire a flying fortress ganmen soon...as well as maybe a Viral :O That's my guess at least..he's been shit on so much, and starts to question his masters after finding out that it was Simoun that kicked his ass in the last battle. "WHAT ARE HUMANS?" Also, Yoko taking up Kamina's old seat in the Gurren Lagann... could get... interesting... although I still think the SimounxYoko needs to not happen. maybe. but then again, if

then that kinda makes more sense to me...I always figured Yoko was in her late teens early twenties and that Simoun was probably more like 14. But I still don't like that pairing :/ I guess we'll see.

While I hope that Viral does end up with them, I'm not sure it's going to happen, at least not just yet. I get the feeling that Spiral King is going to "promote" Viral, seeing as he's the only one who isn't an arrogant ass, and he's the only one who's noticed humans aren't as inferior as they're made out to be. I really do hope he ends up in the Brigade, though.

As for Simon X Yoko, I'm with you on that on, ZS. I really hope it doesn't happen. Considering the next episode preview it probably will though, last time a character said goodbye in the preview it didn't end well for them... :(

If they kill off Nia, it'll take a lot for me to keep watching...

and who seriously didn't expect that to happen?

This is perfect material to get american shonen audiences into anime.

I'm willing to bet it wills how up on some form of television, such as adult swim at some point aswell.

Knowing the current subbers, I wouldn't expect them to stop any time soon :3

So far I'm still definately buying this when it comes out on dvd...they'd have to either

Dai Gurren's half dead. I'm guessing it's going to get a new "boat." Maybe indeed a flying one.

And it's definitely Simon x Nia, not Simon x Yoko thankfully.

Crap, all this new shtuff and no time to look at this series though i did note something...

all the h-doujin sites I traverse seem to have this anime OVERFLOWING [no pun intended] past Haruhi in terms of new releases and popularity.

Is this anime THAT massively 'desired'? Should I try to get into watching it now? [as I've missed 13+ eps already :(]
