Episode 3! Well, this episode was a bit more comedic than usual which is not a bad thing! 8-)
- Tomoya went to the bakery to check up of Nagisa. Her dad tells him don't expect some romantic infliction out her. Then he gave him free bag of bread as a token of appreciation; the bag contains most of the bread made by Nagisa's mom that weren't sold well. This is where Nagisa's mom ran out crying. The dad then ran out to catch her. Hilarity ensues though Tomoya still considers them weird.

- I have to say, that is one big fat ass cat that made a dent to that car!

- Also Yoshino Yuusuke gets introduced in this episode, and according Sunohara he used to be a musician. He's now retired and works as a construction worker.

- Sunohara thought up of an idea that Tomoyo may actually be a guy and really wants to prove it. Obviously that was a bad idea, but in the plus side Tomoyo broke her combo record to 743.

- Oh GOD, Fuko! Why is her mindlessness so freakin' hilarious?!

- Hahaha, Tomoya teasing Sunohara's sleepy state by saying he's a hologram and later a cyborg in the future when the world is destroyed! So gullible!

- New animal "mascot" of Clannad is introduced! His name is Botan and he's a baby....boar?! Supposedly Sunohara picked it up where it started to fuss, and then he got smacked down by Kyou's dictionary/kick combo! So that was Kyou's pet boar, eh? Man, this is seriously not Sunohara's day!

- Most of the last bits of the episode dealt with Tomoya helping out Nagisa in order for her to prep herself for the upcoming open house (which led to some off-topic matter dealing with dangos; it's always the dangos!).

- The episode ended where the two found out all of the posters were taken down because they didn't get permission with student council. This led to a PA announcement for Nagisa to go to the student council room.
I actually liked most of the comedy in this episode though the dream sequence in the beginning of the episode really intrigued me. Anyone want to take a stab at the parallels of that? I guess it's pretty obvious. And has anyone noticed how ridiculously smooth the animation was during the dream sequence with the girl and her junk robot?

ANN summary actually spoils quite a bit:

Plot Summary: Tomoya Okazaki is a third year student labelled as a delinquent. Everything seems to be unchanging for his school life until he meets Nagisa, and Tomoya finds that his life is about to change. He starts to have dreams of a bleak world and meets a girl who has the ability to fuse junk together in order to create things, and doing so, creates a body out of junk for him. He is then reborn into this empty world and follows around the girl, the only two existences who are "alive."

I read the wiki on it, so I think I'll pass giving it away >.>

However, you should have noticed by now that those scenes are rendered in 3d and use a special cell shading technique to make it look like drawings, which explains the fluid motion.

Also, loved the scene where you just see Fuko's arms clinging around Tomoya making that funny sound.

Also, Sunohara is pretty much there just as a kicking bag for the girls XD

Episode 4! But first I want to say this:

Yuri confessional scene between Ryou and Nagisa?! DO FU**ING WANT!!!! :P

Image

(of course, it's not the first time Nagisa admitted her love with another girl, but that was in a different series!)

Now that I got that out of the way, more comedy fun!
- There are exactly 3 Tomoyo confrontations Sunohara faced in the entire episode. In the end 1,013 hit combo has been made including a chain combo courtesy to Tomoya! :o

- Does this need any explaination?

- Sunohara wants to help out Nagisa get more members for the theater club since Tomoya told him about her mom's "tasty" bread. Uh oh!

- *during scene with Sunohara wanting to help out*

Tomoya: So what if this is like an RPG game? And the only choices there are to kill him. How sad!

- After Nagisa confesses her "true feelings" towards Ryou, Kyou came out (who was eavesdropping by the way) and strangled Tomoya and Sunohara for leading Ryou in an awkward position.

- You know there's something really cute in the way Kotomi was moving without letting go her sitting position.
Of course this episode presented some interesting revelations especially for Fuuko.
Remember that construction worker Yoshino Yuusuke in the previous episode? According to Fuuko, her sister is going to marry him in the near future. And also her sister was formerly a teacher in the school whom Nagisa remembered. The reason Fuuko was carving those wooden stars was to get people to go to the wedding and have them give the newlyweds these stars as gifts. There's also a connection made between the ghost girl and Fuuko since she said she got involved in a traffic accident which is really similar with the rumor of the ghost. Hmmmm.....
