Ok so this may just be me speaking with heavy bias as a Kyou-fan, but this episode was bloody amazing, both in terms of how they handled the story and it's visuals.
One thing I noticed almost immediately was their colour pallet, it was truly something to behold and they really pumped up the environment. As for the story, I'm impressed they managed to fit it all into one episode (though they did miss out some parts, such as the gemstones and fortune telling, as to be expected), but still wished they could have lengthened it more, since it's a shame her arc was cut short in the story. I really loved this episode, and it's a good reminder why Clannad remains one of my favorite series
