well you had to know, by episode 18 or something when Tomoya was describing Nagisa to Ushio that Tomoya is a TERRIBLE story teller. That doesn't even start to say terrible. his story telling skills is a disaster! But it's kind of fun to see how badly he does anyway. It's kinda' like completing a collection. I just GOTTA catch em all!

No, you simply must watch the show to the end or experience a strange feeling of emptiness.

It's just a recap. You have already seen the whole series. You can skip it. I feel like I wasted half a hour on something that could have been really interesting. Sort of makes me want to punch babies ...

I like re-watching the first season (done it like 3 times). But this felt a little different, I felt extremely nostalgic watching this and it was painful to watch cause I knew it was the last episode, there would not likely be more. But I knew it would leave an empty longing if I did not watch.

Spoiler :
I do not like how they refused to show any shots of Nagisa alive in the recap [Real-time to the story-telling]. Even at the ending, she just shouted from out of the frame.

I have done a marathon through all the episodes of the new Clannad series, which everyone seems to be talking about in this thread.^^

I went into this series knowing that
Spoiler :
Nagisa would die
at some point, because some retard wouldn't mark such a huge spoiler on the tube. Anyway, I had little hopes that this series could be any better than the first Clannad, but I think I was proved wrong. I loved the show and I was pleasently suprised by the impact the ending had on me (starting at episode 18).

Major props to the anime creator that could turn such a lousy first season into a great masterpiece

Sry for the double post, but..

I really don't understand what people have against the last episode. I think it was quite funny :D

My only problem with 23 and 24 was simple paranoia, that I would watch something that would wreck the happy ending in some way.

Ok 23 was ok, nice little slice of the past.
24 was nice too, sort of like a summary.

   I'm really glad you liked it. Though everyone probably already knows, this is my #1 favourite. I always feel really happy when I hear that someone else liked the show too!
