Okay just caught up the the manga, some non spoiler things worth noting:

1. Since the manga is ongoing I have a pretty good idea where in the story the anime will cut off from - at 26 episodes.
2. The chances of there being a season 2 is the same chance as there being a season 2 to Berserk.
3. Because of the two points above the story may span for years to come... i could be wrong but it's a feeling I have.
4. Did I mention how similar the story becomes to the post-anime story arc of Berserk? ... it makes me want to spoil the current arc of Berserk so I'll stop now.

5. Galatea is hawt... Teresa remains the coolest Claymore but yeah Galatea <3>_>

Whew, I finally caught up all 13 available episodes, and I'm liking it so far. It still has your shounen action moments like the usual charging up, attack exposition talks, the "final" boss and such, but you can't go wrong will mostly girls doing it, right? :o

And I find it amusing those Yoma monsters has to use "tentacle"-like appendages to attack the Claymore. And I bet guro fans must have got their fill seeing them getting hacked and slashed every episode.

With each ep, the claymores get more and more curvy [which makes sense if they're demon forms are uh, 'swelling']

I like I like

No chapter 74 this month but instead we get a Teresa special which happened before the Clare/Teresa flashback which I hope gets animated, you can read it here:

http://www.onemanga.com/Claymore_Extra_Scene/1/001/

It once again proves how ridiculously powerful Teresa is.

Episode 14 was pretty steamy!
- Clare was still training with Irene in perfecting the flash sword technique. She made very little progress.

- So then Irene decided to chop off another section of Clare's arm and then chopped off her own arm so Clare could use it. It's a usual gruesome yet awesome moment of Claymore. :o

- Later on Clare encountered Ophelia again who is in her Awakened state. So it's pretty much Round 2 with Clare's new arm. Clare still had trouble, but it wasn't as bad as last time.

- Ophelia's final challenge involved moving her own human state into the tail of the Awakened beast. And yes she was naked, and yes they showed the whole frontal part! 8-)

- So she proposed Clare to use her flash sword tech to kill her without becoming Awakened herself. Clare succeeded of course!

- Meanwhile, the unarmed Irene encountered #5, Rafaela who came to kill her.
Gives new meaning to that word, doesn't it?

Ah, and I am SO excited to see the next few eps. Another video will have to be made. >_>

Rafaela's voice is different to what I expected. Now the question is, how long will the next arc last for considering its practically 7 chapters worth of fighting, either 3 or 4 episodes I think considering 1 episode covers 2 chapters, but it should be good =D I should start thinking of what I want to achieve through a Claymore AMV ~_~

I'm sensing a new arc starting in Episode 15.
- Clare, now sporting a new boy's look, goes into town trying to find Raki.

- While in town, she discovered a group of Claymores going into the mountains to fight an Awakened One.

- She then saw the Teresa and Clare statue of which she overheard some people talking about a person that could have been Raki.

- At that moment a heavily-bled Claymore came towards Clare telling her that her comrades are in danger in the mountains. Seems like this Awakened One might be a tough one.

- Meanwhile inside the mountains, there was a little girl ordering a Yoma to torture the remaining Claymores by stabbing a bunch of poles at them. Hmmm, I'm all for penetrating, but man did it get messy!

- This was an attempt to force the Claymores to transform to their Awakened form of which one of them cracked. The Awakened Claymore tried to fight off the Yoma, but he proved to be too powerful and killed her instantly.

- Episode ended with Clare going towards the mountains after fighting off a bunch of flunkies.
Although the newest episode (ep. 15) does indeed lead up to something awesome happening I do feel this was one of the worst episodes yet.

I guess it suffers alot from the very fact that it's leading up to something major, so no harm done :P

I have to say I don't like the whole female trying to be male or visa versa thing, although many Animes seem to be using that, and she/he sounds rather lame at that ^^
