I watched the anime and really the end disappoint.

Then you did it in the wrong order. The anime is almost in lock-step with the manga up until
the battle in the northern city at the end. (The fight between Claire and Priscilla is not cannon.)
After that the anime goes off and does its own thing before finally ending. The Manga is still going strong (or at least as strong as anything with a monthly release schedule can go).

On the anime follows the Manga is the problem in the last 4 episodes there is a good start to read the Manga to continue the story.

I wonder what the odds are that they will do another run of this anime with more from the manga.

TBH I hate when animes end like this and the manga keeps going, especially when I enjoyed the anime alot. It's like a ploy to just get the manga more enthusiasts and some extra money in the process.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

The new chapter is out. This chapter is going to blow your mind into pieces. Lots of the best action we've seen in a while, fucking amazing atmosphere, and gut turning, mind-swallowing art.

Read it NOW!

The odd thing is, they could they could start the anime again from that point and have it go exactly with the manga and change very little. I used to think that they'd have to revamp the whole anime plot to get it back on track but if I think about it, even after they butchered it everyone is still pretty much in the same place in the same situation. Just a few extra things happened. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I was too pissed to watch the last few episodes so all info I have on what happened in the anime is second-hand. Did anyone die who wasn't supposed to?
