I have wondered if Lucky Channel was seriously planned out.

Some of it came out looking like unplanned filler. Almost as if they were constantly surprised they needed to do more of it.

None of it was in the manga (I think) so it was probably an unplanned filler.

I think they got a good enough response to the series that they will make a second one. Just a matter of time and I can't wait.

Hooray!

I can't wait for the dub too. I wanna hear Konata's voice. (Yeah I've decided to like the dub now)

I wonder if I could like this as live action.

How many think the series needs the style of drawing to succeed?

Well the style is very attractive and it contains plenty of Moe. But the characters personalities (especially Konata's! XD) is enough for me.

The way it's drawn is one of the most addicting parts. The entirly chibi atmosphere fits the it perfectly. They might be able to get away with live action on some series. but not this one.

The 100% chibi feeling is one of the things that kept me watching it, also the opening ^_^

Yeah as much as I often play some opening a bit too addictively, the opening for Lucky Star was just too annoyingly pleasing.

And I agree, I was sort of shocked when I realized hey these girls are not supposed to be 14, they just look that way.

And drawing Konata short just makes her even younger looking.

I wonder though, should I be worried that I enjoy listening to young girls inanely babbling :)

The reason why it's so good is that it's completely and utterly pointless! The lack of an actual story is what makes it so good. Now that doesn't mean that some random thing with n, point is good, it's just how Lucky*Star goes about it! It makes no sense! It's just a bunch of stuff that happens! It's so addicting! I want a second season already!
I love how those anime store owner guys are always trying to get Konata too buy something!
I think I enjoyed it partly because a friend of mine is so like Konata :)

I've tormented him a lot, "hey she's you as a girl" :)

Eh? My friend does the same thing to me! Though he doesn't watch Lucky*Star himself he just gets the info from me.

I didn't really need to be told Konata was like me. I pretty much realized that from the begining myself. I'd bet a lot of people on the org can relate to Konata.

No duh. I'm pretty much the same. Only I'm almost twice her height and I'm a guy. But still, I'm like a taller male version of Konata! XD

My friend is like a male version of Kagami. Wait a second... my group of friends is like a male version of the Lucky*Star cast! WTF!?
