well this one was certainly a surprise for me. the art is well....weird, But animated. It looks almost like every frame is a keyframe, but has a very rough drawn manga-ish feel to it. took a little getting used to. it reminds me of one of the episodes of Samurai 7 (the anime) where the artwork got all weird compared to normal. I'm still on the fence on if I like this style of art or not.

Regardless to the art though, the series story is rather intrigueing. I've kinda gotten adicted to it. The atmposphere of the series also feels more for a mature audience than most anime titles, and should be noted that there are alot of sex scenes in it. Rather atsui sex scenes I might add. (Not like a porn movie though)

The story is about a group of people that hunt what is called flesh eaters, people cursed by the gods to turn into shark like beast that crave the flesh of other humans. The first heir to this group and probably the most talented fighter, ends up falling in love withImage a girl who happens to be a flesh eater. Things get interesting since sometimes when they have sex, she ends up like:
Image  and he has to run away so he doesn't get eaten. She usually supresses the instinct with her will, but alchohol seems to lower her strength to supress it. Some other screen caps:

The badas monkey who has more skill then the main char:

I'm gonna stick with this one, at least for the time being. I think its worth checking out, even if you are taken back by the art style ;p (Vision of escaflowne anyone?)

Ahhh, I heard about this series. This is directed by Masaaki Yuasa where abnormality is his speciality. Anyone familiar with that Samurai Champloo episode where there was burning weed should noticed how insanely trippy that episode was; he directed that episode. Of course some people know him for directing a Studio 4°C movie called Mindgame which is by far the most psychotic, mind-bending movie EVER made (it makes FLCL look totally coherent).

His style is seriously an acquired taste which makes it pretty hard to get people into. :|
