I can't say about the anime, but in the manga Misa KNOWS shes being used, and on several occasions she outright tells Light to more or less use her.

Well, in the "I'll do anything for you" sense, yeah, she knows Light is *the* Kira and she's just a helper. But I don't think she realizes that he doesn't actually love her and would easily kill her to serve his own purposes. (Unless I'm forgetting a scene somewhere). It's always been my impression that Misa sees Light as a champion of justice, and doesn't realize how amoral and unfeeling he really is.

Yeah, that about sums it up. She's devoted even after it all.
in the manga (When she exposes herself face-to-face to Light) she says "I don't care if you just use me! Believe me!" and before that, "And you can kill me if I become a burdan"

I caved in and started watching Death Note, now on Episode 7.
Damn, how wrong I was when I thought this is just an over-rated pop-spin detective dealie![]()
The suspense in this series is just awesome. I'm a little annoyed by the 'perfection' (which it isn't really) of all the set-ups sometimes, but this is made up well by the irony and tension.
I'm only a bit iffy as to where this might go. This is a series that may be prone to being ruined by a bad (or should I say overly good?) ending, but I sure as hell will be with it until that ending, however it goes.
NOT reading the manga on this, it's too good as anime to spoil.
Will join the spoiler party in a couple of days!

I call those the "OK, if you say so" scenes - "If I do this and plot this and plan this, after a long, involved chain of events decades in the making that goes exactly as I planned, voila, my scheme is realized!" (or the L version, "if he says this, and we set him up like this, there is a 7% chance of smog over the coast! and also, Kira will be revealed!!")

L's reactions after watching another videotape by the second Kira saying that Death Gods do exist was pretty unexpected (though I thought his wails was a little cheesy).
Though I found the episode far more interesting when Misa's shinigami Rem told her that Death Gods can be killed. Rem told her about another shinigami named Jealous who died because he used the Death Note to save another person he loves (the person was supposed to die). And that person was Misa.
And in the end of the episode, Light and Misa were THAT close of meeting each other!
However, consider this while watching the series. What if L, and another future character were actually autistic in the author's image of them. This would explain a lot of mannerisms, their susceptibility to immediately believing "Death Gods really do exist", as well as explain why L and the other character are significantly cognitively advanced than most normal humans.
What are YOUR opinions about this?
No, Misa and I will make pretty babiesOmniStrata wrote:Light and Misa would make pretty babies...
yeah, a friend of mine said that scene wasn't in the manga.OropherZero wrote:that last scene in ep12 didn't happen in the manga (cafe part) =| Probably justthere to raise tension to see the next ep, I think anyway, I honestly don't remember such a coincidence.
