Dude, only 2 out of 50 episodes has been premiered. Of course it's going to be slow. Hell I thought Fullmetal Alchemist was pretty trite at the beginning, but that later shaped to be a rather complex yet engaging series. :?

Give it time.

That means absolutely nothing. I got a feel of this show from 2 episodes, I don't care about the story, characters, or anything. I can tell pretty quickly if I'm going to be able to get into a show or not by one episode. I know that this is not my style of anime.

I saw the first episode and i believe its not all that great. The writing is bad and the concept to me is the same. well this is my opnion I will see more to see if it gets better. 8-)

Been watching this one.

While it hasn't broken 'much' new ground, I found myself getting into it fairly easily. The art style gets kind of weird a few times toward the episodes around the late 20's to the mid thirties for some reason.

why do people only watch the first few eps and instantly say its bad....i thought the first episode was boring myself but.......2nd got better....3rd got better.....when i hit episode 7 i was laughing my ass off. (ep 7 is damn hilarious btw)

just keep watching it and it'll grow on you for sure.

Agreed! Something about how Renton trying to fit in makes it quite compelling. And yeah, the relationship so between him and Eureka is quite cute, Though him and Talho makes one bitchy pair.

I'm enjoying it. I'm on episode 38 at the moment and loving it. The story concepts arnt that all original, but the level of action and humor makes everythig feel fresh.

I just love the concept of hippies trying to save the earth using suring mechs.
