Of the ones I mentioned:

- Card Hunter Sakura 2 is out-of-print and very hard to find a copy of (since it looks like Himeya Soft sold out of their copies). You could do a search and see if you can get it elsewhere.

- GF Captor Kurara is freeware. Click on the title to go to the freeware site GameHippo and get a copy. :)

Oh, i made a mistake. CCS: Sakura no Fushigi na Clow Card is for Wonderswan, not Wonderswan Color. It's definately out of print, but you can easily find it on Emulator if you look. (the thing is, it's not illegal because it wasn't released outside the US, so nya~! XD)

Sadly, the biggest problem has been the "in" factor with many game "naturalizations". Animes like Gundam and Naruto are well-known internationally, so games based on them would have more mass-market appeal (and success) than more limited, niche titles like Cardcaptor Sakura.

Much as everyone would like to see it happen, most games in Japan based on limited-market animes just will never see the light of day in any of the international markets, unless the Japanese version includes a full English translation or someone buys the rights and has the know-how to translate it properly and market it well. :?

Well actually, CCS does have alot of international mass market appeal, but not as much with the target audience as it would be hoped for. It's not enough to bring the games over still. If the series was aimed for more than 7 year olds, then it would probably get more appeal and we might have had a higher chance of seeing the games. Sad thing is, DNAngel has more of an appeal so we have a higher chance of seeing the PS2 game of that released than we do a CCS game (yet neither is gonna happen.)

The manga is mainly the same except there are a lot of minor differences in the manga. For example, Tomoyo has a crush on Touya for a little while in the manga and in the manga Rika is engaged to the teacher. Both the manga and the anime are quite good so I would recommend both. :)

Another major difference is that Sakura has less cards in the manga than than the anime. In Cardcaptor Sakura The Movie 2: The Sealed Card, Eriol mentions 54 distinct Clow Cards (including the sealed card, I think...), but in the manga there are only 19 Clow Cards.

Also a big difference is that, in the anime, Li Sayoran can collect and use the original-form Clow Cards in addition to his normal prayer spells, if he had given more effort to defeating the card than Sakura did. This gave him a more important role in the anime version -- now he is a more direct rival of Sakura.

(Sorry for the double-post)

I pulled out the Playmates Clow Card "book" and compiled a list of all the cards ever made for Cardcaptors / Cardcaptor Sakura below (in spoiler form):

The original 19 Cards (Manga)
- The Windy
- The Wood
- The Jump
- The Fly
- The Watery
- The Illusion
- The Flower
- The Sword
- The Thunder
- The Shadow
- The Mirror
- The Shield
- The Maze
- The Erase
- The Glow
- The Light
- The Dark
- The Firey
- The Earthy

The anime extended Clow Card list, which is now a total of 53 (or 54):
- The Fight
- The Create
- The Sleep
- The Voice
- The Shot
- The Time
- The Power
- The Loop
- The Move
- The Arrow
- The Big
- The Little
- The Change
- The Silent
- The Dash
- The Rain
- The Song
- The Storm
- The Lock
- The Through
- The Twin
- The Cloud
- The Wave
- The Return
- The Mist
- The Libra
- The Freeze
- The Sand
- The Float
- The Sweet
- The Bubbles
- The Snow
- The Dream
- The Despair
(speculative name of the Sealed Card, which is the opposite of Hope and the particular attitude of the card itself - it felt alone and without any hope of being with it's "friends")
- The Hope
(aka the Sealed Card, which merged with Sakura's Heart card)

(btw, if you see one of these Clow Card book reproductions with the 52 cards, it's a nice CLAMP collectible :) )

I have the set, but it's missing a card.. It's missing The Sand card.. @_@ (i looked everywhere but i can't find it.. > >) It probably ended up in the garbage or something, lol.

I know someone who got a similar set, but she got a Japanese set and there were Sakura cards in it! It had the Sealed and Heart card in it too. I wonder how much she paid for it..
