No, I see him in my Firefox and IE. The Firefox version, he does not move at all, so I CAN click on Nekoman in Firefox. But the IE version actually works, and Nekoman moves around.

Ok, so how about sparing us mortals and sending the link that you get when you click on nekoman?

I try, but I can't catch him. Little bastard.

according to the sourcecode, clicking it does nothing, Moving the mouse over it however, reloads the page pointing to "#".

The function to move the necoman around randomly is in the page source as:

function nm() {
window.status = "escape!";
if(document.layers) {
document.Layer_nm1.left = Math.floor( Math.random() * 600);
document.Layer_nm1.top = Math.floor( Math.random() * 400);;
}else{
Layer_nm1.style.left = Math.floor( Math.random() * 600);
Layer_nm1.style.top = Math.floor( Math.random() * 400);
}

}

And this loads the Necoman and sets the onmouse command for when you move the mouse over the image:

<div id="Layer_nm1" style="position:absolute; width:22px; height:32px; z-index:2; border: 0px none #000000; left: 80px; top: 100px">
<a href="#" onMouseOver="nm()"><img src="img/nm_et.gif" width="22" height="32" border="0"></a>
</div>

Its a Java thing, so if you have Java disabled, or maybe broken, or incorrect version, that may be why its not working for some.

Didn't Yuki also use the Lambda Driver against that cricket? :roll:

damm.. I missed that.

I noticed that.

Haruhi, in my judgement, is off her ever-loving rocker.

And I think the earlier hypothesis that

has significant weight.

On another tack, who else has noticed
SPOILER-GARD (TM) wrote:the budding love triangle? Kyon is quite obviously interested in Mikuru, for which I can't blame him and which also seems to be reciprocated. However, there have been a few hints that Haruhi has an interest in Kyon. For one, there was episode 3 (Haruhi-reckoning) [i.e., 5] where Haruhi was somewhat upset when she didn't wind up with Kyon at all. I also recall someone mentioning that Kyon is important to Haruhi. Voila, instant love triangle!

Episode 8 is the conclusion of the island episode! And MAN, you really have to turn your brains on for this one. Lots of information and deductions were made. If you want know what really happened, check here:

http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2006/05/21/suzumiya-haruhi-no-yuuutsu-08/

Though in the end...
...the whole thing was a ploy made by Itsuki just to entertain Haruhi. Of course bad things will happen if she gets bored. :lol:

Also this episode finally gets to show that Haruhi...
...is SO CUTE when she gets all worried and compassionate. The cave scene where she and Kyon were trapped in was supposedly not in the original novels, but it did give her some more depthness in her character. The so-called "romance" between those two is really becoming a possibility.

Now comes another million doller question. How many Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney references can you spot?! :mrgreen:

Next episode...
...episode 14?!! And during the preview, Haruhi thanked Kyon for everything. I wonder what could that mean. :roll:

There has actually been quite a number of times haruhi has
shown some interest in Kyon, if your realy attentive to them. Alot of them involving Mikuru. (like the Baseball episode when she put mikuru's hair up in a pony tail in the cheerleader outfit but decided against it when she noticed Kyon's somewhat lecherous looking stare at Mikuru ;p)

Somehow though, I expected this outcome for Episode 8 :lol:

My belief is, at this point, the people at Kyoto Animation are screwing with our heads. Or course, with the source material, it's pretty easy. At least it is keeping people on thier toes, even those that have read the novels.

Oh, and I was surprised at the amount of Suzumiya you get to see in episode 8.

Image :shock:

And I cannot for the life of me, stop watching the part where Mikuru faints. I know not why...

Though have you noticed that Haruhi sort of hesistated when she was about to unhook her bra? I wonder if it has to do with Kyon being around. :roll: 8-)

Not having seen this episode yet, this has now convinced me to upgrade that particular priority.
