I just want it because I don't want a PAL DVD. I don't actually care about the dub itself. :P
(Though if it were to be good, then that would be a plus.)

It's not that bad. Some of the voices are excellent. Ex. Mion/Shion (Perfect)
Keichi's voice is good. Satoko's could use some work. Rika's voice is what is to be expected, high and childlike, same girl as Nunnally from Code Geass.
Ooishi's voice is completely different but still fits the character.
Tomitake is Kyle Hebert.

The DVDs are worth buying just for Rena's voice. I love her line:"It's so cute. I wanna take it home with me!" in her ridiculously high voice. I immitate it at school to creep people out. :D

So, while I was wandering around Amazon and RightStuf looking for any deals I might want to take advantage of, I ran across this little bit of information. Apparently, the R1 releases of Higurashi are finally going to start up again. Both sites currently have the fourth installment set to release on September 30. See here and here.

Dunno if this is old news or not, but it makes me happy inside. :D

Also...

LivingFlame: I read part of the Umineko no Naku Koro ni manga, and if the show is even vaguely similar to it, then it'll be good.
