Yeah, I was aware of that. The next episode or two will be very interesting, with more than one sort of climax.

To angelx03:

Supposedly, he was able to kill Berserker 5 times (just how many lives does Berserker have),

Berserker has 12 lives [I'm 99% sure]. :D

I'm waiting for the "recharge" scene!

Of course, this is not a hentai so it's probably going to be implied. I wish I knew enough Japanese to play the original game.

Well, what you know! I didn't watch ep. 15 yet, but I did check out the new opening sequence. And man, there's some pretty slick animation Studio DEEN has imployed. And not to mention there are lots of scenes that are very intriguing (some may even shock you ). The second opening song is all right though. :|

From what I heard, starting with ep. 16, the anime will pretty much go through their own route and not follow any of the three pathways of the game liberally.

And now, the question everyone has been asking!
How the hell are they going to show Saber's mana recharge without the use to explicit sex scenes.

Simple, use a badly rendered 3DCG dragon and some trippy visuals for Shirou to enter Saber's "dragon"!

Now that's out of the way....
...Rin has came up with a plan to finish off Berserker. It involved Shirou and Saber being the decoys while Rin prepares to unleash her ultimate magical attacks using her jewels. They were successful, but there's one problem. They discovered that Berserker has quite a number of lives left, and the episode ended with him crushing Rin with its bare hand.

EVIL CLIFFHANGER!!! :x

I pretty much went giddy becasue there were a lot of Saber blushing moments (especially from that "you know what"). 8-)

spoilerish thoughts wrote:everybody is stuck on Saber being Arthur, but I recall that there was one other person that posessed that blade. All this time I'd been thinking Joan D'Arc, but the dream sequence killed that (arthurs legend is english, Joans is french) making me figure her for the lady in the lake.
Of course the show plays that kind of loose, just look at the winged horse.

Is it just me or do the episodes seem really short? Dammit, if Tohsaka gets turned into jelly that's gonna suck.

That was a very hot implied scene; however, it was a little disappointing in how they spun the technicalities, but I guess it works out just fine.

However, I was expecting Shirou to use his analyze and reinforcement skill to strengthen Saber's mana threads or something along the lines of how Nynaeve from the Wheel of Time healed Siuan.

Onthat thought, Saber as a Warder, now, that has got to be a very cool and a perfect idea. On several occurences, I've thought Saber might have drawn some inspiration from Birgitte, another blonde hair heroine, also from the Wheel of Time, but I guess when you have an past story as large as she does, you don't need inspiration from anything else.

If you look around a bit, it's actually the case. The dragon thing is a dead giveaway, if you consider the surname of the figure in question.

The Lady of the Lake is somewhat unlikely, too. To my knowledge, Arthurian legend is the only area she figures heavily in, and even then only as the source of Excalibur.

yes that was an evil cliffhanger there >.<

Yea I think the show is playing these characters pretty loosely, as we can tell, Berserker looks nothing like hercules, Sabers a girl, among other things. I still don't get who Archer is from though.

If you really want to find who Archer is, which is just as awesome as finding out who Sin in FFX is, then I suggest going back through the past episodes and paying close attention to the stuff Archer says, plus the red jewel left when his clothes disappeared at the end credits of ep14, looks familar?.

Mind you, I when to wikipedia to find out, it was like the biggest and most dramatic spoiler of my anime life.

So I'll leave it at that :D

That preview sequence showing that blurred image of Excalibur r0x0rs... Can 'he' make it? that'd be cool to see, especially with Saber's hawtness swinging it around... :D
