Wow, I love this show to death. Not sure if many people in general have seen it, it's still airing in japan and unlicensed. But let's see if the synopsis piques anyone's interest:
ANN: They are neither plants nor animals. They differ from other forms of life such as the micro-organisms and the fungi. Instead they resemble the primeval body of life and are generally known as "Mushi". Their existence and appearance are unknown to many and only a limited number of humans are aware of them. Ginko is a "Mushi-shi" who travels around to investigate and find out more about the "Mushi". In the process, he also lends a helping hand to people who face problems with supernatural occurances which may be related to the "Mushi".
I think the two most prominent things about this show is the 1) gorgeous artwork and 2) originality/good-weirdness.
1) The artwork/animation is breathtaking, hands down. It's new, so the animation is all shiny and modern, but not obnoxiously so. It's calm, and soothing, and fits the series perfectly.
2) The weirdness. So of what I've seen, this show doesn't have much of a plot. It's alot like Kino's Journey in that it's this one guy who's travelling and meets a bunch of strange situations that are caused by mushi, and it can get pret-ty weird.
For anyone else who's seen it/some of it, what are your first impressions?
