"Furare Kibun de Rock'n'Roll" is catchier than it has any right to be considering that it's really not that good of a song. :P

Undeniably cute, but I only got through about 9 episodes. The characters seemed a little on the 2-dimensional side for me, and it felt like things were getting predictable. Does it get better later on?

Well, I only watched about 8 or so episodes, but I had the exact same feeling. And seeing as it's only a 13-episode series, I don't see much in the way of future character development in the last episodes. It's still an amusing show, just not very deep.

One ultra cutsy AMV coming right up!

j/k

Hmm, something tells me this type of series is nothing more than a mere cute, entertaining yet a "throw away" type of show (in other words not totally memorable unlike Azumanga Daioh.....well until Pani Poni Dash gets here, hehehe). Though Kitagawa and her loli yuri tendecies on Mika-sensei had me in stitches and then some.

This show struck me as trying to hard to be Azumanga Daioh.

Fail.

From looking at the Geneon site, it seems that the English release will have more episodes (total of 20, including the original 13). Maybe (hopefully) these "extra" episodes will be an improvement...

I've only seen the first volume, but I like the series ^_^
In fact, I liked it enough to take a 100 icon challenge for the show ^_^
