Ever read the manga? There's only two volumes. I find it interesting how they got all that with just two volumes of a manga to go by. The ending in the manga is a lil bit similar, yet different...

spoiler wrote:NYC? When did this happen!? I thought they were back in that one town they started in, except it seemed more peaceful than the first time.. I thought that..like they say..history repeats itself, so that was a scene how history was somehow repeating itself... It's been a LONG time since i've seen it though... It's been a while since i've read the manga too.. The manga moved pretty quickly... o_O

I checked out the manga, but then after 3 pages I saw it was like IDENTICAL to the anime so I didn't bother.

But anyway, Wolf's Rain is a very original show and I enjoyed watching it. Some episodes were way too slow though.....

IT IS THE SADDEST SERIES I HAVE EVER SEEN! I thought "She, the ultimate weapon" was sad...actually that was really dpressing but i lvoe it haha

anyhoo, wolf's rain. yeh i ahve nenver cried so much while watching something and i agree that the last ep did end a bit cheezily but there was something about it that didnt satisfy me. i dunno what or why it just did "finish" the series for me. i mean they left it open for a 2nd series BUT THAT WOULD TOTALLY RUIN IT!

One thing that I didnt understand is...what was paradises in the end? I mean he died and that was it...was paradise his "heaven" coz i mean if paradise is where he died and was "buried" in then...what was the point if he couldn't enjoy is as a wolf...did that makes sense? haha

oh and i was cacking myself laughing when Toboe like ran past Hige and Tsume and they were like:
H- whats he so excited about? it friggin cold.
T- he's such a pup
i dunno why but i was laughing so hard at that line :P....yeh...haha

I loved the ending! Call me stupid if u want but I never thought of Jeza to have green blood. I knew she was a flower, just never thought about the color of the blood too hard. My fav. episode is the one were they get trapped in the forest and then wander into a cave by an owl.

The first time I saw the ending I was like "Thats It? Thats the END?!!!" Then the next time it aired on CN I watched it again and it seemed like if they really did get to paradise it just wouldn't feel right you know? Its kinda hard to explain. :?

I bought the manga just cause I loved the anime so much. In my opinion, I thought that they did a pretty good job of fitting the whole series into just two books.

Egad! i am obessed with Wolf's rain the ending made me cry because although it was cheesy it was sad to see these characters that u have become so attached to just be killed in why that are for one goal... to find paradise... but it confused me when they put the beginning song song in the end. did it have something to do with that they can never actually meet in paradise or in a why the place that they were living in was actually paradise. i dont kno just throughing it out there

I was the same way when I saw the ending. I saw the anime then read the manga. I like the drawings of Wolf's rain.

Cheza's eyes scare me in the anime. but she is cooler in the manga although some odd reason i missed the fact that she was blind in the anime.
