That Invisible guy thingy is actually true, but that was at Uranai Baba's place, and it was in DB, Not DBZ.

Anyway, DBZ may not have the best plot, but it's actually entertaining, and all in all, it is what got me into Anime, So I can't do anything but like it.

I personally don't know much about the american version, since I've only watched the uncut episodes (Or however you want to call them...)

I totally missed those eps then. :x

If anyone watches the ultimate uncut ep on thursday night (which should be when Vegeta finds out Gohan stole his dragonball), pleeeease tell me how Chris Sabat (Vegeta's current voice actor) performs the "wrath scene". I'll be away at AWA and won't be able to catch it. :(

The scene is Vegeta swimming in the lake and finding out Gohan stole his dragonball. He bursts up from the lake and ends up going into this crazy rage afterwards and starts screaming his head off. This scene was super amazing in the old censored dub and I wanna know if Chris Sabat will give the scene any justice.

Oh, man... that was *the* scene when even the Drummond-haters took a step back and said "<I>Whoa...</i>." Easily one of the most amazing individual performances I've ever heard in an English dub, hands down.

Chris is a nice guy, and all, but there's not a chance in HFIL he's going to even compare to that. I really haven't seen much of these re-dubs (it's too much, personally, to destroy those old fond memories I have from a decade ago with the piss-ass performances), but I know that Chris' Vegeta lately is just... uhhhh.....

I can tell Chris is trying to sound less "cartoony" and more casual but he seems to be coming off more like "I don't care". His Piccolo just seems so dull and doesn't have the "umph" that Scott McNeil gave him. :?

His Vegeta is a little more decent and I'll agree with you that he won't pull off the wrath scene as well as Drummond did.

Nah, it wasn't as great as Drummond's(even though I've never seen it). That was just weak, right there. I didn't feel the emotion.

Here's how I remember it from reading the manga version. Yamcha's opponent was an invisible man when the crew went to battle Baba's lackeys. Yamcha was having a tough time since he couldn't fight a guy he couldn't see. Krillin came up with plan to help him out though. He asked Bulma to stand close to the fighting ring and turn away from the match that was taking place. Krillin then asked Master Roshi to face Bulma up close. Then without warning, Krillin took off Bulma's top, exposing her breasts right in front of Roshi. Getting an eye full like that caused him to have a MASSIVE nose bleed, with all of the projectile blood landing on the invisible man. A perfect example of crude and perverse humor, and the only instance I can remember in the entire Dragon Ball manga series where female nudity occurs.

in the dragonball I saw on tv afew years back, kululin sent somebody [I can't remember who] to get some tomato sauce and then they used that to expose the fighter but that was the buchered cut-up television version so who-knows? :?

forgot to say "female nudity" you say what about when goku took off bulma' s under-wear or when he was in the room while she was bathing and she found-out how old he was and through stuff at him or what about when bulma had to "pay" for roshi' putting out "fry-pan" mountain so she made oolong transform in to her. there's one more on the tip of my nose but I can't think of it right now so "chow" 8-)

there was also when yamcha snuck in the RV and saw "mounds" (qouted from the manga) yanked off the cover to what he thought was the DB's but it was bulma naked (is she a slut or what she's seen naked so many times I can't count)
