I'm really into MSLN. I'm even thinking about buying the new Nanoha A's figures! But, I'm not finished with the first season yet. All I have of the series are episodes 1-5 and 7. I'd love it if someone could help me find episodes 6, 8-13 and A's episodes in WMV format.

woot this is good news!
although I am not terribly surprised by it, they perfectly set up the end of A's for a 3rd season of them in their teens.

Woot, Nanoha StrikerS, Episode 1! 8-)

Plot-wise there's not much to spoiler though the beginning did show a flashback of Nanoha saving Subaru from a burning airport. The episode pretty much showcases what abilites the new mages Subaru and Tiana are capable of. At the moment, Subaru's attacks consists of physical, close-ranged attacks from her gauntlet and her rollerblades. Her special attack commands are follows (hehe, I making it sound like it's from a RPG game ):

- Revolver Shoot - Uses 1x Cartridge: Long-range attack - energy attack ball
- Break Road - Support - Creates magical-based path to travel on
- Divine Buster - Uses 2x Cartridges: Variation of Nanoha's attack but less concentrated

Tiana uses a pistol that uses cartridges for long-range attacks. Her pistol can also be used as a grappling hook in order to swing to high-places. Her special attacks consist of (though only attack were actually named):

- Crossfire Shoot - Long-range attack - energy attack - can hit more than one targets
- has the ability to cloak
- has the ability to make shadow clones of herself (Naruto, eat your heart out  )

The OP and ED songs are both actually good for once. And this mysterious girl in the OP reminds me of Rider from Fate/stay night only in chibi form! 8-)

This series is going to be fun! It's just amazing how this magical girl series has evolved in the past seasons.

So far, I like Teana's abilities. Invisibility, duplication/illusion, etc. Although I'm not that jazzed about her using a pistol (and later, 2 pistols), which gives me a FFX-2 feel.

Subaru's close combat techniques are a nice change of pace, in contrast to the (primarily) long-range attacks of Nanoha. But I could do without the roller skates.

I also miss the Intelligent/Armed Device's responses. Supposedly, Subaru uses both Intelligent (skates) and Armed (glove) Devices which makes the omission more prominent. Unless her devices are non-standard, like Teana's pistol which seems to use cartridges like the Belka Armed Devices (and later, the Mid-Childa Devices of Nanoha and Fate) do.
In the scene where Subaru and Teana are about to crash into the barrier at the end, I liked the fact that Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate were all prepared to catch them. In the helicopter, Hayate had her book open, and Fate was readying her magic too. I guess it's not the first time that they had to help out rookies. :P
One of these days, someone will have to make a Nanoha Technique Beat. Heck, a bunch of A's episodes and this first StrikerS episode provide a great setup for it.

Nanoha StrikerS episode 2.
- First half dealt with more flashbacks of the airport fire incident with Fate saving Subaru's sister Ginga. Hayate then took out the fire with a widespread ice spell.

- OMG, Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate on the same bed?!!!! Woot for slumber parties with.....hehehe....

- In the second half, Subaru and Tiana failed the test despite the flashy moves they pulled. Of course Nanoha is giving them a second chance.

- Elio and Caro are introduced with.....um.....an unexpected greeting.

- Meanwhile Vita, Zafira, and Shamal were fighting off robotic drones. The episode ended with Subaru and Tiana heading off towards where those three are.
Episode 3
consisted of more training exercises with Elio and Carol included with Subaru and Tia. They pretty much have to destroy special type magical tech. drones which proved to be very formidable. The episode also introduced the reason why Hayate was so insistent in creating her own division and that's to find Relic.
Episode 4,
the 4 peeps now has to battle against Nanoha and obviously Nanoha is no push over!

(though you can almost tell that Nanoha is holding back)

The trainees also got new devices but in order to keep some status quo from the higher ups everyone (including Nanoha and the others) limiters are placed on their devices. They can be unlocked only by permission from the higher ups.

And judging from the conversation, it seems like Hayate is the most powerful mage without the limiter.
Next episode, the trainees finally have a real mission to take!

Episode 5....oh that was badass! 8-)

We got ourselves SIX transformation sequences; 2 from Nanoha and Fate who were fighting off the aerial drones and 4 from the trainees who were fighting the drones inside the train. There's been word that Subaru's transformation sequence may resemble of the Final Fusion from GaoGaiGar; of course a bunch of peeps say that she maybe a closet giant robot fan (just look at the style of attacks she does). There area couple tidbits that were also introduced as well.
- Seems like Carol was banished from her home village because she was suspected of being too powerful and uncontrollable for being a Dragon Summoner. Of course Fate didn't mind admitting her into military when she tried to join in.

- And speaking of being a Dragon Summoner, her pet dragon can grow REALLY big when she needs him to be. She had to do it because the drone she and Elio faced used an AMF which nullified all of their magic in a long range. Elio was the only one capable of fighting off physically, but he got pwned quickly and got thrown off the train. Carol then jumped off to save him which brought her away from the AMF's range, and that's when made her dragon big.

With the awesomeness of Carol's boost spells and Elio's close combat abilities, they're able to destroy the drone.

- There's someone mysterious person working in the background. He did mention that Fate and Elio were remnants of Project F. So what is Project F?
Next episode is back to training, and it looks like the trainees are going to fight their superiors (the battle of Subaru vs. Vita is eminent). 8-)

The little girls transformation was so cute ;p

I like the cast of characters in this one, lets see how they develop.
I found it rather humerous that the boy is the only one the got jipped a strip scene in his transformation
