In one of the last episodes, she is talking about the Cat's 'true form' (and how Tohru doesn't - at that point - know) and says:
"How can you expect a girl who knows something like that to stop caring!!?"

Does the scene between Tohru and Akito happen in the manga? I am beginning to suspect that it doesn't having heard that the anime was created from what material the creators had at the time. I don't like the way they ended the anime. It was too neat and happy. You just can't get around a person like Akito that easily. The man is obsessive, dangerously so. Shaam wrote:Merci Solaria!
