Some of the .hack games are PS1, aren't they? Do you think they'll work on a PS3?

No clue, but I own a PS1 anyway. I didn't think there were any .hack games for that system.

As far as I know, INFECTION was the first game out, and that was for PS2...

Oh. Okay. Well, whatever I can afford when I get money. Which at this rate will probably be a PS7.

Semi-spoiler reply wrote:I thought that while the core cause was the same (as in an evil semi-omnipresent being in the World), the reason for doing so was different between Legend of the Twilight and SIGN (I haven't played the games) In LotT, it is so said being can bring True death to the world and discover it's secrets, but it's different in SIGN.

SPOILER:

The reasons behind it are the same, though: some entity hypnotizes people into thinking they are dead, and the body follows suit. As to the "mind still in the game despite people being on hospital beds" thing, that part hasn't been quite explained.

While it mirrors things that happen in the Matrix movies (Neo being stuck in train station, for example), what happens to Neo is just as mysterious as what happens to Tsukasa, Sieg, and Rena. :?

.Hack//sign was incredibly confusing. It's a good show, though.

There was actually an episode where Tsukasa's father pulled the plug from the life support system and she started feeling pain in the game until it was plugged back in.
if the end is really the begining, where did we start off?

Personally I found the storyline of //Sign to be rather...lacking. Granted, the character development throughout the sereies was good, but the storyline was just blah, compared to the other series.
