I like the Gundam Series in general. The artwork is beautiful, and when I sat down to watch it the story was engaging, but I could not get into Gundam Seed, sadly.
Believe me I tried. It just seems like all the explosions lull me into another world now...
man, before you try quoting someone, at least try to learn HOW TO. and Im also a big fan of Gundam SEED and Destiny. Its the best anime ive seen to date.
Gundam Seed wasn't one of my favorite Gundam series, the only one I dislike more than it is SD Gundam Force. I'm not saying that it was a bad anime, it just wasn't one of my favorites.
After watching the first episode I was pretty turned off, and by turned off I mean have never sought out any more subsequent episodes of this show or it's sequal. There's just something off-putting about it, granted none of the characters seems that great, and the personal conflict it seems to center around don't sound very deep...
I might try watching more sometime to see if it does get any better but all in all it just looks like a repackaged Mobile Suit Gundam with less like-able characters.

If your gonna rant about NOT liking it, then dont fucking post, kay? This thread is called "Anybody LIKE Gundam SEED" not "Anybody Hate Gundam SEED" so if you dont like it, stay out of this thread.
I love gundam seed !!!! In fact, I'm gonna sit down to watch the next episode in 'bout 10minutes. I also loved Gundam Wing. I will never forgive YTV for taking it off the air . Unfourtunatly, I havn't seen any of the other series. Oh, and to the person who said it wasn't very deep...WTF are u talking about u nutjob?!!!!!!! ...ok, I'm calm again. Just on problem with the show, some episodes are VERY depressing, so if u are suicidal or sometin' (like me ), you might want to avoid it.

I'm a big fan of SEED and Destiny. I originally didn't like it, but that's because I didn't care for the dubbing job they did. Now I catch every episode, I'm real curious to see how Destiny's going to turn out.
On the downside, especially in Gundam SEED, they seemed to be skimping on the production values. What with the constant reusing and rehashing of the same animation sequences and all.
