True, when humans first started out, they did not have any machines. But that doesn't ignore the fact that they had created 'simple' machines to help with their every day lives. The machines were not as luxurious as we see them now, but the primitive human
did have machines to help them every day. A really thick tree branch was turned into a club, which was later perfectioned, where the primitive human added a rock.
Okay, maybe that wasn't an AI or anything, but it was a tool to help facilitate their lives. Yes, I totally agree that this is double sided, so it really depends on what the person thinks....or argues, whichever comes first.
